Title: Is there any hope for a massive revolution of the people?
Post by: Prayer Warrior on February 10, 2023, 02:46:51 AM
Every single day, we get more wrecked by the government in terms of freedoms, purchasing power, our futures are being taken away. So far, other than some complaining and telegram conspiracy groups, nothing seems to be brewing for a revolution.

Is it all over or will the people rise up against the government?

I’d like to think there is but majority of this country are pussys that would gladly stand by and watch the country crumble before them instead of doing a fucking thing. I think daily I should start a revolution but it would just be me walking down the street so pretty pointless.

That's why we need to bring together likeminded individuals

1/2 the country supports tyranny, socialism, communism and big govt.
The weak, insane, woke-left (of course). As society loses its collective mind more each day, this group of pure-retards will grow.
The tough old Americans are dying off.

Most weak-leftie retards do exactly what their phone tells them to... Which is programmed by Big-Tech censoring tards and CCP commz.
For grown men today, age 40 and above, to be a left-tard Dem, you're pretty pathetic. Far right aren't much better, but left "takes the take" when it comes to pure insanity.
Most (with a brain) are more centrist and belong to no "Party"...  ::) (AKA "Cult").

Great times that are long gone. Growing up in late 70's, early 80's was a blast...

I dunno about “Revolution” but I could see the US Balkanizing into a few sovereign territories.  Just seems like too big of a landmass with too many people to all live under one non authoritarian government

As long as our gov keeps things barely affordable people will not revolt

Sovereign regions very unlikely. Take Texas for example. One in four people in Texas (or thereabouts) are on the liberal side of the equation and would likely resist it, out of fear of the values and government that would result. Plus the business community would resist it hugely (even small business). Can you imagine discussion of a new currency other than the dollar? Or companies like Exxon Mobil dealing with export/import issues, or American Airlines dealing with passport issues at Dallas hub. Just right wing talk, no basis in reality.

Agreed.  While wages/purchasing power have been on a steady decline for decades, cheap consumables have kept Americans too fat and docile to rise up.

If enough Americans see our elections as illegitimate and if local governments refuse to enforce federal legislation, it could be likelier than we think.  Not saying it’s a good idea but our country is far from unified

Refusing to support legislation is always on issue. We must depend on our courts to sort that out, for better or worse. The Left is as guilty on this as the Right (e.g., sanctuary Cities go in that direction). Our corporations represent a check actually. I just saw the CEO of CVS yesterday state that CVS will stay in line with any and all state restrictions on abortion and contraceptives. This does not probably represent her personal views but she respects the laws and would not put her corporation at risk.

As a Teacher and Educator who has a huge contact-net , you know how they feel.

You also know how their parents feel about this sad state of affairs.

There is a reason for the increasing votes for SD

Until everyone is willing to lose EVERYTHING it would never happen.

Throughout history the ONLY reason it ever happens is that the populace has nothing to lose.

In the US, even the poor still have too much to lose.

You guys want life like it was in Sweden and Europe in the 1970's

I thought you hated socialism.   Don't you know that Sweden tax funded healthcare for all citizens and provides free education through Master degree level for all citizens?

Since the Great Depression, Swedish national politics has largely been dominated by the Social Democratic Workers' Party, which has held a plurality (and sometimes a majority) in the Swedish parliament since 1917. General elections are held every four years.

The Economist Intelligence Unit rated Sweden a "full democracy" its report for 2020.[1] Sweden is also ranked a liberal democracy by the V-Dem Institute (2021)[2] and scores 40/40 for protection of political rights according to Freedom House

Looks like it sill ranks as one of the best places to live in the world with some of the best healthcare (paid for by tax payers) and one of the longest lifespans
They also still provide free education through Masters level
