Plausible, but I think he was expendable and was disposed of. If anything, killing him in jail demonstrates that his overseers could get to compromised assets anywhere, strengthening their reputation to clients.

The Tesla CEO asked why the Justice Department haven't revealed the Epstein/Maxwell client list.

Elon Musk took to Twitter Saturday to ask if anyone was bothered by how quiet the "leaking" Justice Department is when it comes to the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, said the DOJ, which grew notoriety for leaking under former President Donald Trump, was remarkably silent about the deceased convicted pedophile.

They lived near each other in the billionaire area of Florida. Attended the same events in the area. Way before the story broke about him Trump barred him from all his properties because of the way he talked about a friend's young daughter.
