Title: Almost broke up the Band!

And went to Rehab!

Who is the James of Getbig?

Who is the Lars of Getbig?

Who is the Kirk of Getbig? (Mellow and tries to be diplomatic)

Fourteen-year-old me, in 1984, could never have predicted Metallica would release its last album worth owning in 1988. That the next record, its eponymously-named effort, would be the springboard from which to launch over 30 years of suck.

(To be clear, Metallica is a very good heavy metal CD. Just one for which I have no particular liking.)
