Title: Netflix documentary: Pamela, an Idiot’s Story
Post by: BBSSchlemiel on March 19, 2023, 06:23:28 AM
We’ve covered a couple of Netflix documentaries. Has anyone seen this one? My wife and I watched it last night and I wasted time I could’ve used for Getbig.

I watched it.

Pamela said she loves to fall in love; loves to feel vulnerable.

What a dumb outlook.

I will NEVER allow that to happen to me again. The best way to prevent that is to have multiple girlfriends. Or if you can find one good one, do that. But being vulnerable to someone who can hurt you is not something that you just give up to any random person. A lot can go wrong - and for Pamela, a lot DID go wrong.

Part of why Pamela keeps getting into the same problems over and over is because she keeps falling in love. I think that's stupid.

I thought it was funny when she said caught her boyfriend washing his penis at the sink before hanging out with her. Which Getbigger was that?

Vapid whore.

Indeed her vagina looked quite nice way back in her Playboy Home Video days.

Now, I’d not have the least bit of interest in her.

I’m not kidding. Listening to her was like listening to a child. I’m not just saying that to poke fun at her. She seems actually dumb, like literal low-IQ dumb. And very shallow. She’s actually a woman who needed a normal father (hers was not) to make life decisions for her, including husband selection.

Before I watched the film, I predicted she would check off all the boxes, and she did.
1) Permissive patents (surprise). Dad was abusive. Her mom encourages her to be a playmate, goads her on to become a “sex symbol.”
2) Becomes famous as a sex symbol. Gets annoyed that she was treated as such, including by stupid talk show hosts, who would talk about little else besides her stupid boyfriends, sex, and her body.
3) Gets involved with violent, degenerate men, some of whom push her around and throw things at her. If I recall correctly, an athlete she “dated” injured her hand.
4) She “dates” (screws) one jerkoff after another.
5) I think she went through four husbands.
6) Career dries up at an age when a woman cannot be looked upon as a sex symbol any longer.
7) Has film made about her that pulls at the heartstrings of lemmings who cannot see the above for what it is.

My pre-viewing predictions were right.

I’m at a point where I don’t know why a man should be a boyfriend. I was a boyfriend several times in my life before I met my wife. With all I understand about women now, if I were single, I’d be actually single, or looking for wife material to form a family. Anything in between seems like an enormous waste of time and resources just to “hang out” with a woman and get laid. In many cases this results in emotional abuse because women know providing or withholding sex  keeps men in a vagina-induced haze so that she can control his life. I have mixed feelings about prostitution, but I don’t see why a man who just wants to get laid should subject himself to being a boyfriend if all he wants is to get laid.

Women are for breeding, not to be our “friends”, I believe.

Yep. She put all her eggs in one (fleeting) basket and has been involved with one jackass after another. Tommy Lee? Really? That chode is a ballistic ballbag bozo.

She’s had likely dozens and dozens of cacks plunged into her, and, as another ‘bigger says, has Hep C, if not mistaken, yes.

Broads like this never have a chance at real, honest and lasting love.

It’s sad.

I just got kicked off my aunt's Netflix account like three days ago.  ;D

And I'm not willing to pay for it. Canadian Netflix sucks, for one [it's very limited - I'm not sure how this compares to the UK Netflix]. And secondly, it's loaded with Woke garbage.

I'm not willing to spend money on.

Although if there is a Porn Hub documentary on it, I'd like to get a thread started about it.

PS - Flexacon, did you say that Bertil Fox is entitled to a £400 monthly senior's pension in London?  ;D

Netflix sucks here too, sucks pretty much everywhere now though as most of the new content is stuff they make.

Just go on duckduckgo and search for 123movies and watch whatever you want on there. Make sure your adblocker is on.

Closer to £800 if he has minimal savings.

I'll check that out.

I use one called FMovies.wtf, to sort of "trial" a movie, to see if it's worth paying for.

I'm watching one now called "The Killing Fields", but I don't think I'm going to buy it. It's pretty boring.

Isn't £800 something like $1,400 CAD?

My total monthly expenses [aside from my kids] are like £1,000 maybe.

That's pretty good, if Bertil is getting that.

You must have a massive free shit army in the UK, too.

The UK was long seen as the land of milk and honey because of all the free shit you could get.

Now people get here and end up thoroughly depressed with the reality ;D

Actually Bertil was a train driver which was a decent unionised job. Don't know for how long, but he may have an additional pension through that.

Isn’t there some theory that hot women don’t mature much past puberty because they get so much attention their brain stops gaining intelligence?

Something amusing was Tommy Lee being on the sets of Baywatch and driving the staff crazy and flipping out when Pam had to be romantic with other characters for some scenes. One time she had to kiss some guy for the show and he wrecked the trailer they were staying in.

Def some truth to this. Hot women are showered with attention from men 24/7, especially in the social media era, and never have to mentally grow up. it's like replacing your parents with men

As they should.

Didn't your country have a democrat vote to leave the EU, which successive waves of federal governments have ignored?

Utter bullshit. Literally ignoring the democratic will of the people.

Hep C is cureable now.  I worked with a woman who had it and although it's a lengthy process it is cureable.  Her 1st series of treatments did not work.  She had to go through it a 2nd time and it worked.  So I'm with Rob.  I'd be eating that thing like it was going out of style.

But the reason why I brought it is because Hep C isn't as scary as they claim.

Neither is Covid.

I just find it hard to believe you know anyone that young who died of Covid.

For Canadians under 50, do you know how any die WITH Covid every year?

1 in 58,824.

And that's not at all OF Covid, but WITH Covid.

It just struck me as odd that you know anyone that young who died.

I mean no offense.

But FYI, people don't love you on Getbig - they FEAR you.

I think it might be a bigger deal than you realize. Lots of drugs, even OTC stuff, goes through the liver. If you have HepC and need drugs to treat it, it all adds up to the stress on that organ. Liver failure is a horrible way to die.

I have mixed feelings about prostitution, but I don’t see why a man who just wants to get laid should subject himself to being a boyfriend if all he wants is to get laid.

Women are for breeding, not to be our “friends”, I believe.
I agree. "Dating" is a waste of time and money. Our grandfathers and grandmothers didn't date half the county to find their mate.

Correct. And to put up with the abuse and treachery that is reported here? My god!

HM, do you have any insight as to why men deal with this? Who wants to “hang out” with a woman?

I'll put forward a dissenting opinion, if I may (yes, wall-of-text alert). I enjoy hanging out with certain women. My closest friends are male, but I'd argue that men can be more annoying. They tend to be more boastful and insecure – I can't be assed listening to their crap. With my female friends, they offer different and sometimes interesting opinions on topics, and they're often equally as amusing. It's a nice balance and I think there's a general point there about just having good friends.

However, I realize in writing this that I am likely biased from the opposite perspective: I've never really been emotionally invested in any woman I dated, and I've never, to my mind, demeaned myself or chased after them. Still, humans are amalgams of good and bad, and there are plenty of terrible people out there – male and female. If you're emotionally invested in a woman and she screws you over, that's going to cause some lingering resentment and negatively affect your way of thinking, I guess. Add into that porn/social media constantly relaying examples of depravity to us and I understand some of these views, though I think one should be aware of just how much the internet can really cloud one's judgment. Unless you have a brain like Goodrum, you'd quickly kill yourself if you watched nothing but WorldStar all day and took it as an accurate representation of humanity.

Regarding marriage, my thoughts and behaviors have changed naturally as I've grown older, and I now view marriage as a positive marker of adulthood and generally a good thing. It's far too risky to make that commitment to someone unless you're as sure as you possibly can be that they're the right person and it's not going to end in an emotional and financial disaster for you both, though. Unless there's an appeal to something beyond it (e.g. individual religious convictions or a strong desire to have kids) I think one could just as fairly argue that a man should not get married.

Thoughtful post.

Fewer and fewer are dealing with it. Look at the marriage rates.
