When was his procedure?  Most open-heart procedures get discharged 5-7 days after surgery.  He’s in a general medicine room so it’s not like he’s getting a level of care that’s exclusive to the hospital

when i had my open heart surgery, I was out in two days. they did it monday night, and I was home wednesday afternoon. the worst of it was when they pulled all the junk out of me 4 drains and a monitor to the heart. not much fun. ;D
