The prices of their plates are surprisingly not ridiculous.

The shipping is the killer.

But, to each his own.

For me, procuring equipment at half price via secondary market has been half the fun.  I enjoy the hunt more.

   play it again sports and fitness exchange used to be great places to get vintage weights at discount prices.

I haven't seen a big drop in used iron yet.

Glad I got all mine years ago before crazy Covid.

FB marketplace is the best.  There's a guy up here in mass always selling - his pics look like your home collection.

Absolutely - dumbbells back to $1 lb or cheaper, same with free weights.

Bowflex dumbbells are actually the litmus test - if the 552s are going for under $300, it's good times.

Ridiculous.  I bought mine for 25 cents/lb.

Why, when I was a wee lad, bread was 5 loaves for $1.
