Title: Worlds strongest man
Post by: robcguns on April 18, 2023, 08:13:41 AM
Was just out to breakfast and saw 2 huge twins and was asked by the owner of the restaurant if I was here competing and I said for what and he said worlds strongest man is here this week. Those two brothers are competing. I laughed and said thanks for the compliment but I’d be a runt comparatively hahaha. Weird that it’s in Myrtle beach.I have seen a. Few huge fuckers walking around though so makes sense.

Also anyone know who the twins would be? It’s not the stoltmans cause they didn’t look like those two guys.

I thought Brian Shaw misplaced his leg?

He’s found and tested a new prosthetic in time for the contest?

Just turned 57.   He now becomes oldest competitor overtaking Odd Haugen who held the record at 56 3/4.

Is this a serious question coz i saw it mentioned the other day about shaw. I always assumed they are naturally big guys that just eat anything and everything and wsm is drug be tested.
But then pudz clearly was on, Gary Taylor back in the day and Curtis Leffler to name a few.

No offense man but that’s some major naïvety if you’re serious, they are all juiced to the gills and then some.

No Licis or Novikov  2nd & 3rd place last year.

Novikov is there. Licis is taking time off. Very selective about contests these days

It's just not something i properly thught about, yra the ones like i mentioned with more bodybuilder type physiques are obvious. You'd think they'd have worlds strongest natural man competition then like all athletics.

Yeah but did you send an overlong long text to your Wife about your breakfast and she replied

"OK"

And then did you text her your life-story to tell her that the restaurant owner paid you a compliment because he could clearly tell you worked out and was intimidated by you and that the 2 huge twins were clearly very uneasy around you and could tell you would be able to ragdoll them, and she replied

"OK"

And then did you send a long grocery list to her of a bunch of processed food to buy for you and she replied

"OK"

If a resteraunteur mistook bhanks for a WSM competitor we would never hear the end of it.

Could you imagine the guy who couldn’t place in a local powerlifting meet in a strict curl contest being mistaken for one of the strongest men in the world?

Someone would have asked him.

Robert C. Guns:

Are you 250+ right now? Even 220 would be considered massive to a lot of people. I don't think most people comprehend that the World's Strongest Man competitors are almost all well over 300-lb. Even Rob Kearney is 285-lb at 5'10", and he is the SMALLEST guy at that level. In fact, Kearney is so obsessed with flaunting his gayness that I forget how impressive he is.

Also - have we identified these giant twins yet?

Is it possible that the restaurateur had just heard that twins would be competing, and saw two unrelated competitors and assumed they were twins based on their size?

I'm not aware of any other WSM level twins, other than the Stoltman Brothers.

Yeah Matt I’m 255 right now at just under 6’2.

Yeah I’ve been trying to find out who the twins were running thru the names of the list gym rat posted and just seen if they had a twin or look a like brother that was not competing and no such luck so maybe they are just spectators. I’m guessing they were about 6’4 320iah each, both with dark hair and dark beards same exact builds. It’s crazy to think twins would both choose the same steroid path to go down and turn out identical in builds as well.
