I doubt this is the cause in his case, but...
Blood that has lost its oxygen is dark bluish-red. People whose blood is low in oxygen tend to have a bluish color to their skin. This condition is called cyanosis. Depending on the cause, cyanosis may develop suddenly, along with shortness of breath and other symptoms.

I don’t know much about The Rhino except for i saw him incline db 200s he’s a beast and sounds as disciplined as they come. I listened to one of his seminars and I thought he was very informative especially about sleep however I felt he was professing the use of salt fat too much He was advising to use it with most or all your meals and it would help with your blood pressure and your muscle recovery. However I find that too much sodium in my diet raises my blood pressure significantly. I think he’s wrong on this and it could be to his peril
Stan if you are reading this rethink the salt intake brother and lower the dose. Not worth it.

Waiting on beakdoctor, md to confirm these findings

I take in at least 7,000mg of sodium a day that's 15,000mg of salt, my blood pressure is perfect. You want high BP, fat+carbs+salt.
