No surprise.

The Fed raises rates...a recession arrives 9-12 months later.

This is the way it works.  There's a lag time.

This was from January btw. Interesting that it only starts doing the rounds and makes the news cycles now. He isn't actually saying anything new or different from some of the statements he made around that time either.

powel is a bad actor for those with a brain ' we gotta raise rates to fight inflation'.   raising rates IS inflation and causes more .  Buisnes, people, companie entrepreneueuers ect selling or financing big ticket items are not planning on happily eating the cost of any more 'tax', the cost is always passed to the buyer but hey this nation listens to people like more plates more dates u can see we on right track

Recessions, if they’re allowed to happen, run their course very quickly. I think we’ve already had the recession.
