While it’s fun to bash if we took a step back to see what has gone wrong, When consumer goods became cheap and plentiful along with food and holiday trips, it also brought with it higher expectations.

Young people turned out to be the higher anxiety and higher stressed group vs generations who did not have all these things. Yet they seemingly have everything. Social media adding massively to this as it’s a measure of likes and became a social yardstick, another stress point.

I do honestly believe going back to the 1920s level of consumption will benefit everybody mentally. Having everything only seems to have Brought misery or am I wrong?

I worked with a lady like that a few years ago.

It got so bad we all stopped going to lunch with her.

Every single time we went to lunch she would cause a scene.

We would sit down and order food, if the food wasn't out in 5 minutes she would ask for the manager because "she was in a hurry".

And every meal she got wasn't cooked correctly.

Strange enough, her husband was a super nice guy.

I have no idea how he put up with her.
