Three Lifetimes is a clever title. Not curious enough to sit through it, but you have got to hand it to the drive this guy had. The movie mogul aspect I guess was one thing (it created his wealth), but becoming Governor of CA and then even surviving a voter recall blew my mind. We all have a skeleton or two, so I put no stock in that. And as far as drifting a bit centrist/liberal, I think it is genuine, however there would be no way to stay at the heights of power in CA without that. Practical in the same way as he always has been.

But I think he has gotten kind of unattractive looking in old age, no homo.

C'mon. The 80 Olympia won't even be mentioned.  If it is mentioned at all it will merely be a footnote to his "first life" something like Arnold came back to win the title one more time before hanging up the posing trunks for good in 1980. It was time to take on his next challenge....  segway into acting career.

I remember in one of John Hansen's interviews with Roy Callender,  Roy told a few funny stories about Arnold even mentioned how Arnold was very open minded about other races, rooming with him for a week for a competition.  But Roy was blown away that as Governor Arnold had the final say in ending a mans life. He couldn't imagine that Arnold had that much power.

An overrated bodybalder that took copius amounts of roids, played a ton of politics like a bitch in a beauty pageant and still had to suck Wieder's cock to win.
Failed miserably as the governor of the most woke state in the country, wanted to be Prez so bad that he petitioned to change the constitution.
Made it his life's mission to go after Trump and shit on the party that elevated him to power and influence.
Like Gregg Valentino said - "To get where Arnold got in life you have to be willing to step on a few fingers, friends and fuck people over."
Arnold goes to bed crying every night knowing that he'll never win the ultimate popularity contest in his life and Trump beat him to it.
Fuck Arnold!

This is very weird, I heard Christopher Merloni has pictures and statues of himself all over his house too. I wonder if you get really famous and rich if this becomes normal cause you fed you are so great. I’m a mere simpleton so I can’t grasp the concept at all and seems very very weird.

Arnold is a very unique person, I've read a couple of books which are conversations with people that have known him throughout all aspects of his life.
They all say the same that he is highly intelligent, can talk on almost any subject, takes in everything said never forgets the people that have helped him along the way and gives back.
There was a guy who met arnold once and said they spoke for a few minutes.
He said six years later he saw arnold again and not only did arnold remember his name he asked how the venture went that he was about to start, he was shocked. Most people can't remember what you told them last week.
Looking forward to the unseen footage and pics from bodybuilding days and current training.
Could skip the politics part don't care for it but it might be done well.

At this point it’s clear that the majority of the Fitness industry can see through his charm and charisma and see him for the opportunist and manipulator he truly is.

I stopped following him after his new liberal politics and pro-vax bullshit. It was a shame …. I had loved his Hollywood success.

Does it matter? Steroids or no steroids the man has the drive no matter what to succeed in whatever.
There's not enough episodes to delve properly in his life, only scratches the surface.

Why didn't they mention the 1980 Olympia with one single word in the documentary? They covered extensively his entire competitive career until the 1975 Mr Olympia and conclude with Arnold's words that he won 13 world championship titles in BB in total and retired to give others a chance, that's it... ;D

Arnold is a Sociopath.

Look it up.

Interesting. Although, when considering Arnold's symptomology, I would lean heavily on Psychopath. Arnold is cold and calculated, whereas pure sociopaths are mostly found in prisons for obvious reasons.

Not to say that you're wrong, because there is no official psychiatric diagnosis for psychopath vs sociopath. Moreover, there is only one diagnosis known as antisocial personality disorder and as a diagnosis, it's best described as a condition that can viewed as having a spectrum of presentations. Today, patients that used to be called sociopaths are now simply diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder, as antisocial personality disorder and sociopathy are interchangeable. Whereas, psychopaths are considered to have a severe form of antisocial personality disorder, thereby showing how in the "spectrum" of antisocial personality disorder you can have varying degrees of presentation.

When trying to decipher between the two, consider Kevin Spacey in House of Cards as a psychopath and Tony Soprano as a sociopath. Arnold has other traits which feed into his psychopathic tendencies, narcissism being high up there.

"1"

P.S. Saw episode 1 and thought it was pretty good. Separate from his manipulative and highly narcissistic ways, Arnold is a picture of success and what it takes to be a winner in a capitalistic society. I am not saying his way is right or that the blueprint he presents is morally or ethically sound, but it's hard to argue that in this type of society we live in, that the tools he engages are in fact not highly effective. Just a look at the political theater that takes place in Washington and the players that appear to be most successful should tell you how effective these behaviors are. Anyhow, once I see episodes 2 & 3, I will update my postscript accordingly.

The fact that he did not fly back to Austria to attend his father's funeral tells you everything you need to about him.

Stallone is not only a far more genuine and humble person but he is also a bigger movie star than Arnold

Arnold went from being a hummer driving badass to  a washed up vegan who hangs out with greta thunberg at the WEF.

It's all nonsense. If you watch the movie Bigger about Joe Weider's life story it clearly shows Joe visited Arnold in Austria and flew him straight to USA.   In this Netflix series they pretend that Arnold left Austria for Germany for a while then spent a couple years in UK where he won 2 Mr Universe titles before he had ever spoken to Weider. I expect the Weider estate to sue for this contradiction to what they showed in their movie.

Stallone is very short and has small feet. He likely has an impossibly small cock and due to that he loses every time.

Arnold started filming Conan in 1980, then did the Olympia and returned to do the rest of Conan in 1981.  Also, Stay Hungary and Pumping Iron were both filmed in 1975.  In between 1975 and 1980 he didn't have any significant movie roles other than cameos.  Pumping Iron was the movie that got him the role of Conan.

The Terminator and Conan the Destroyer were both filmed in 1983.

Think about it for a second, Arnold always had charisma, confidence, even cocky at times, walked all over Lou with no remorse, and knew he was good at everything he put his mind into

Stallone, short man, lacked confidence, can barely string together any sentences with his stupid speech impediment, wears lifts everywhere he goes, not comfortable in his own skin, insecure

Both are now old but Arnold, besides his fat useless son still has two that will further the  legacy of the Schwarzenegger name. Stallone, however, has hot daughters, which will probably take on a getbiggers surname

They don’t call him the “Austrian Oak” for no reason

Slys first son is severely autistic and he basically warehoused him. He was embarrassed by his other now deceased son because he got fat as an adult. So much that he recasted him in rocky 6. Sly seems to have created a reality where he thanos snapped both his sons.

There was an intense rivalry between Arnold and Sly during this period and they go into it in depth in the documentary.  Sly straight out says he hated Arnold and would have pushed him off a cliff.  Arnold says he wanted bigger guns and knives and explosions that Sly.  They both viewed it as a competition.

Latest gym videos show arnold still has plenty of size and thickness, aswell as definition.  I can't imagine dwayne having much of a physique left at nearly 80.

Brigitte was with Sly at the time (Rocky 4), and then made Red Sonia with Arnie

Nielsen was hoping to make her mark in showbiz in 1985. Just 22 years old at the time, she boldly contacted Stallone, 17 years her senior, by sending him a promo photo of herself along with a note right to his hotel door in Manhattan.

”My name is Brigitte Nielsen,” the message read, according to Entertainment Weekly. “I’d really like to meet you. Here’s my number.”

Stallone was immediately intrigued and went to see Nielsen the same night. The two headed to the altar a short time later in December 1985, and went on to co-star in Rocky IV and Cobra. Yet just 19 months later, Stallone filed for divorce.

Title: Re: Arnold on Netflix!

The best way I can describe it as I have experience with both, is a sociopath you can tell, and a psychopath, you can't until it's ultimately too late.

Arnold is a very gifted individual on many corners
Be it iq in academic sense, eq, situational awareness, psychology mindedness that let's him understand his motives and personel shortcomings, list can go on.
He was extremely popular from age 17, when you listen people that know him, all say they were struck with his charm and smarts even when he was in his teens, and these guys were popular alpha type guys that ruled the gym that he frequented (Kurt Marnul, that intellectual doctor etc)
There are not many village boys that can be friends with champions or the most educated man of an area when they are 16 or 17)
And I have never heard or read anybody said Arnold left an upleasent memory and used them the way to the top.
Many say he was always very positive, brought energy and enthusiasm where ever he went.
Yes he is a narcissist and very very competitive, and he could go sour if he wouldn't be as successful as he liked, but lucky for him he was truly gifted in mind and body, and maniacaly hard working, he turned out to be a pleasent go gether.
If he would be typical bodybuilder he would be exploited bu Weider, or he would be a one hit wonder like Ferrigno.
You don't sit and discuss movie projects with James Cameron, Ivan Reitman type of mega successful directors without being extremely smart.
Compare that with Ferrigno, I can imagine he had hard time memorizing his 'lines' in hulk series and trying to blend in with other actors without being awkward.
I just watched his CNN interview, while he is not as sharp as 2 decades ago, being able to be revelant and talk as logical at age 76 shows his potential, many carreer politicians with law degrees have hard time talking sense in their advanced age.

He was so successful and inspiring all his life, he probably developed a kind of prophet complex. He is preaching how great his mindset and how he can help others achieve their goals. I really think he is in love with himself and his ideals.
Being mortal is hard, and for an aging demigod, it would be hell.
I still like the guy, he is fighting to the end, not crawl away and seek comfort with his wealth. If he live to his 80's, I don't think he would cope well with being totally irrevelant.

The show didn’t mention that Arnold said in the original Pumping Iron that he idolized powerful men like Uncle Adolf. That part of Pumping Iron has essentially been erased from history because it runs contrary to the current Arnold narrative. Nonetheless, one can’t deny that Arnold has succeeded at levels that only a small percentage of the world’s population ever has. Certainly no bodybuilder has ever come even remotely close.

PS - Only a handful of people in the world care about the ‘80 Olympia.

You’d think they would’ve black-balled him decades ago when pics of Gustav surfaced with the infamous Hitler stache. My father was a “police chief in Graz” He must be rolling in his Argentinian grave as we speak

He probably had to suck up HARD to his j3w masters because of that.

He'll only be relevant thanks to ball lickers like you.
Arnold is a Globalist turd full stop.

It's like Dorian said, " I still associate with my old friends but Arnold only mixes with his rich new friends"
( words to that effect)
