As in being a vegetable? :) Who planted George Santos and why? Do you mean people who voted for him and/or contributed to his campaign and now very likely regret it? What I would like to know is how they planted him. How could you possibly convince someone to put themselves into a position of national ridicule when you - and they- both know it will end up with criminal charges being filed against the “plant”? What do you offer?

But ask him why the Republicans did so well in the House and the Senate if there was truly an ability to rig the outcome and you get crickets. It makes no sense.

However, it is my guess that McCarthy has not taken any steps to oust this pathological liar and criminal because house republicans need all the votes, they can muster with only a nine-vote advantage. On the other hand, republicans seem to relish being controversial. The crazies get a lot of press... 'any press is good press' and all that. However, being represented by Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, George Santos and a few other republican crazies could end up biting them in the ass, should the conservative voter ever wake up to what and who they are supporting.
