There are a few factors hurting espn we will leave the political horse shit out
With more and more people cutting cords espn is losing that guaranteed cable money
Also the amount they pay the nfl and the nba is enormous
I would not be surprised if Disney tries to sell them eventually for years Disney relied on the easy revenue they made off espn to supplement them

How long can these networks pay windfalls of cash to the NFL and NBA for games? If they are laying off staff it is probably only a matter of time before they can't pay as much for airing the games and the athletes will have to cut back on these 100 million dollar salaries.

That was announced when he first was going to retire, but was postponed when decided to go on for one more season.
Now, some say that divorce being imminent, he wanted to play one more year to be able to legally postpone that TV contract. So his divorve would be solved and that contract would kick in only after.

I’m a Trump supporter, I think that Jalen Rose should NOT have been fired. He is awesome. Watching this video, it is obvious that Jalen is taking his termination WAY too personal. I believe that he was let go in order to reduce payroll. But he definitely see’s it as a personal attack. Obviously he was the one being fired, so he has the right to feel that way.
The video title is misleading because he did not use those words. But he does make a couple comments that do somewhat support that title.
He is one of the very few people that I will miss seeing on TV. Hopefully he lands at a better job in the near future.
