Couldn’t believe he was only 39 thought he was 55. How can anyone eat that much sodium and not have a stroke? Wouldn’t that much salt result in a stroke at some point?

That's all?  He has a better record than that.

Your body, if healthy, just excretes excess sodium in your urine.

What position does rushing in American football? Running back or quarterback?

Wasn't IFBB pro Nathan Wonsley one of the best at rushing in the NFL for one season?

Does he just puke them up afterwards? You’d think he’d be super fat. Can’t imagine what his toilet goes through after all that.

Rushing is when an offensive player takes a handoff (not a forward pass) behind the line of scrimmage and runs with the ball.

Could be the QB or other offensive player like a running back.

Running backs usually get the most opportunities.  Some QBs run but only when necessary due to risk of injury.

The current trend is for highly mobile QBs who can escape the pass rush by running but also make all the throws like Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson.

Tom Brady is an example of a QB who can't run.

Running backs generally have short careers (3-5 years) because they take a lot of punishment and get injuries which slows them down.

Bo Jackson was a fantastic RB who suffered a career ending injury early in his career.

Wonsley stats.  Played one season.

Undrafted rookie who came out of nowhere to record a pair of 100-yard games for the 1986 Buccaneers but sustained a serious neck injury in November of that year and in spite of a brave comeback attempt in 1989, never played pro football again. Was leading all NFL rookies in rushing when he got hurt caused by a tackle he was making on special teams.

Most of the events make you hold it down for a period of time or you get disqualified.

I watched a few documentaries on these people, they train for it and don't eat like this too often.

It's terrible for you, but there are people who make a living doing these food challenges.

The crazy part is when these 100 pound Asian broads do it.

Hard to believe they don't puke it up, but it seems most of them don't.

Great information. Thank you for that, IroNat.

So Nathan Wonsley was pretty good! And looked good even into his fifties. Last I checked, he competed in 2018, when he was 54 years old. I think in the Men's Physique category.  :o
