Watch "Bull."
A really good movie. Very brutal. Getbiggers may be scared at the violence.

I was hoping this was a review of “Barbie”.

Unfortunately I have not seen Barbie yet, but Rory wants to go see it, so I will go.

Do people even go to the cinema these days or has Netflux, HBO, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Streaming etc cornered the market?

I hear Cinemas were retardly full for Barbie, etc.
When we go, on like a SAT AM at 11 AM to see something (new horror), we're like the only 2 in the place.

It probably has to be to be a huge potential blockbuster for people to go. I rarely go to the movies unless Rory wants to.
I have Amazon Prime, Disney, Hulu, Tubi (free), Shudder, Netflix, Peacock, Paramount, HBO, and Sling. Still cheaper than cable.

Just watched, really enjoyed it.. Twisted...!!!
We have a few pay channels (Prime, Shudder, HBO Max) but I download most of my stuff from UseNet (NZB files).
(Movies, new shows like Justified, The Mayans, etc).
I get all the Netflix shows as well from UseNet, the ones worth watching (Ozark, etc)..

I wonder if Dr Goodrum has all those streaming apps for his business ventures

He's invested heavily in most of them, wall street tycoon...

Bevo, please address and mention Dr. Goodrum, PhD, CSN, MFT, HPP, CEO, with the proper credentials.
Bevo, it is quite obvious that he has all those streaming services and more.

will do. ;D

Looks good.

will do. ;D
Im sick of these stupid fucking revenge films
Flick through Netfix and all you see is
'they killed his son/daughter/wife/dog/etc, etc and now hes going to make them all pay"
And the amount of films now with skinny women in the lead kicking the shit out of hundreds of men.

The "wrath of Becky" and "Hunt her kill her," but you will have to suspend some reality.

Good movies
I liked the first one Becky better though
Evil dead rise was good, Cobwebs, and talk to me were good too

There will be a place for the cinematic experience into the foreseeable future primarily due to it being about a shared, low-effort and relatively affordable evening experience. Humans are social animals at the end of the day. And also for teens it will always be a good option if they ever get off their phones, hence so much of the dross targeting them now that comes out of hollywood
It's faced equal if not bigger threats than streaming before, notably television and home movie rentals...but always seems to bounce back (at a lower base) so will still have it's place
Now...whether that product originates from LA or not is another question. But the communal experience will carry on as a supplement to the in-home world

Yeah, but you don't have the excitement of some crazy gunman opening fire on you at home like you do in the cinema.

A friend recommended Sisu.. Streaming... on Apple Vudu and Prime.. Wasn't really interested until they said "It's like John Wicks Grandparent during the German war and if such a film existed it was directed by Quentin Tarantino. At that point I was like... F&%k, gotta see this..
My impression..... Worth the watch but... the last 30 min really asks you to suspend belief.. much like a Wicks film
Premise.. War hero, tired of killing leaves civilization to gold prospect. He discovers a gold vein that would choke a horse. War is over, Germans are retreating but killing everyone in their path.. They know they lost the war. He crosses paths with a small group on his way into the city to sell his gold.. They decide to rob him.. You can fill in the rest..
there IS a dog involved that gets killed
