This guy Krystozf lifted in the IPF,I saw him pull like 410kg in 2019 official in 105kg weight class.
Was pretty amazed at the skill and strength that time.
I don't know if this is a sanctioned lift of any kind here but theirs were also sketchy out of comp(Thor I think).
Plus this Pole weighs about 110kg not more here so it's 5 times his bodyweight
And I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere while lardo and mountain bicker about their 500+1s.

Impressive if legit.
To my eye seems so but you never know? If Tors lift was glorified gym lift then this was ” just ” a gym lift.
I think hes much shorter than Eddie or Tor? So he’ll be just as thick even he doesn’t weigh as much. Shorter distance to finnish the lift too. Still weighs the same on the floor!

Yeah it sucksthat the bar bends quite and he's doing sumo-It's definitely a shorter ROM, i don't know if pulliung sumo is more difficult or not(I don't think I could do sumo at all).
I believe he pulled 430 kg at a contest in 2021,and around 400 in an IPF contest in 2019,which are fairly drug tested to boot. He was weing 105kg which makes it much more impressive.

Thor had valid judges (Magnus Ver / Big Z) and weighed all items on scales. Most record breaker" events and records are down "out of contest".
Strong pull by this guy, but as soon as he breaks all records by Hall & Thor, he's a 1-hit wonder.
They were much more than 1-lift.

Have you ever deadlifted with these new deadlift bars? They bend like crazy. Just 315lbs and you can see the bend. I can imagine a powerlifter lifting 700lbs plus the bar will bend like crazy shortening the range of motion making the lift easier. Some of these power lifters barely have the plates off the floor.
For me Olympic lifting is still the sport of strength and power. You get the barbell over head or you don't. No tricks and no support gear. So many world champs don't even use a belt. Olympic lifting should be called power lifting because it's explosive. Power lifting should be called strength lifting.

Of the three powerlifts, the dead is least aided by greater bodyweight.

Sumo is not a real deadlift. It's like bench pressing vs floor pressing.
