I took my nephew to London recently. Everything is so disgustingly, criminally expensive that I'm surprised there's not been a violent revolution yet.

I paid £60 for two adults and a child to go to the cinema. A fucking tiny bag of M&Ms from their stupid factory was a tenner. An open-top bus ride came to around £40 per person. Fish and Chips in a restaurant was £20 each. When my friend was living down there and renting, he had to pay 3 grand a month for a tiny, one bedroom apartment. I despise the place.

That fat-assed wench must have put down one hell of a deposit, unless she's living in one of the ghettos on the outskirts.

Or she's lying..?  Not sure why we have to take an obvious set up at its word (I didn't watch the thing so if she proves it I retract my question)

Londonstan = invaded by the third world and a shit hole now

All sense of community spirit has been obliterated, natives priced out of anywhere even remotely close to where they work, knife crime on the rise, nonsense clean air policies

Dump

I want non UK folk to know London does not represent the entire country

Im surprised the house prices in London havent crashed since Covid

Most city people can work from home now, no need to be in central London anymore

Yeah, something seems off. She's either speaking shit or she's another Hankins with millionaire parents who gave her a few hundred grand for it up front. Tried to see if there's a full vid link but the comments are unbearable. Just millions of urban losers talking about 'cake'. When the hell did that become a euphemism we use over here?

Besides the tourist part of Central London (which tbf is magical), the rest of the city is a shithole. When I always ask people why they'd stay there when the same property an hour or 2 north is 50%+ less, they always cope about how superior the city is.

It's probably the shittest major city in the country to drive in as well.
