Pappas could could handle those meatballs sandwiches and have zero gut distention. Afterwards, he could even go swimming at the bottom the FBI pool, blindfolded.
Pappas didn’t give a fuck. He beat up Harp.
Pappas ruined the DEA undercover operation on the rival surfers. Dietz was acting all tough, but Pappas was like: “nice tattoo’s Dietz”
Charles Clairmonte lucked out too. That could’ve ended terribly. He was fortunate.
Pappas could ran faster than any human being... ever.

Does anyone know what he said?
"Can anyone else see the cartoon dogs?"

The quality of real muscle on that stage won’t ever be seen with todays competitors.
Dillett was actually very good.

That is (stops to pant and chew a towel) such bullshit? Now, where's my damned inhaler?

Good thought... but no
The video above sounds like the emcee/head judge was speaking in a foreign language, so it was probably a Grand Prix contest. It appears as though Vince Taylor won that show
Paul actually won the 1999 NOC in NY. The fans were booing him incredibly loud; and the head judge Steve Weinberger was screaming at the fans (apparently threatening to kick their ass)
Paul was happy with the judges that day, be he wasn’t happy with the fans. Paul made the “NY can kiss my ass” comments to one writers at FLEX

Dillett had top genetics but his brain was not up to par.

That was ALL steroids my friend. Missing those steroids now. High voice, manboobs; low test.

What show was that and who placed where?

What show was that and who placed where?
I’m not sure. It was a European Grand Prix; probably in 1996-1998.
See if you can hear what language the emcee is speaking in
There were GP’s in Russia, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Spain, Finland, ect...
-
What show was that and who placed where?
It was either Czech or Russia GP in 1996.

Dillet: “Jean Pierre, This is not some burger eating contest at the local drive-in! Yes! Your midsection bothers me! Yes! Your approach to this whole damn Grand Prix bothers me! And yes! Your posing bothers me!
And Nasser. Oh, for the love of Christ. How the hell did I even let you beat me at this bone-headed contest, to begin with?”
Now, for Christ’s sake, does either one of you have anything even remotely interesting to tell me?”
Fux: “you placed out of the money... sir.”

You guys have to remember we were coming out of the 80's into the 90's (bodybuilders were huge at like 230/ 240 competition weight ) Then along comes Paul Dillett! 270 / 280 onstage (Matarazzo called him " the marvel comic book superhero come to life!" ) ... nobody had those proportions/ that crazy round muscle! ... he was like "6ft 1 or 2"also .... just that silhouette! That tiny waist .... those shoulders.. and he had huge separated wheels! ... nobody has seen anything like him! (Yes others " caught up and surpassed him ) but for a little while he was a one of a kind super freak! .... Flex Wheeler on steroids lol someone once said! 🤘
-
Paul was the first huge guest poser I ever saw (early 90’s). They had the white sheet up doing the shadow thing and holy shit it looked like there was no way it could be real. His shoulder to waist ratio was insane. Unless you’ve seen these guys in person you really don’t have an opinion on their size or shape. There is zero comparison to seeing picture or videos online and seeing a pro in person.

I totally agree. When I met Paul at Golds, Venice, I got the impression that he was so huge that he dwarfed everyone else. Just standing there he was clearly superior. Giant arms and huge legs. Everyone at Golds knew this. Then the silly judges decided that how bodybuilders look from the back is what separates them. Clearly bullshit and Paul was robbed of many titles in those dark days.
Getbiggers keep referring to who won the Olympia, etc., as proof of superiority. That is nonsense. Recall how Bev Francis was placed 8th after all those feminine contestants when she first competed in the Ms Olympia. There have been controversies in bodybuilding ever since competitions began in 1938 or 39. Black guys couldn't win the Mr America contest until 1970 when Chris Dickerson won. Before that all they could win was the Most Muscular Title. A really sorry history for sure and not only for the racism. Mr Olympia has also been controversial and not only in the obvious 1980 to 1982 contests. Those were simply the most blatant controversies.

Dillett died a thousand deaths in any back pose. His back was flat soft shit compared to everyone else's(other than Nasser's).
Fux looked amazing from the back. His gut was freakin horrific and ruinous though.
