I’m a native NYC/Long Islander (now Floridian) and Staten Island is mostly separate politically than the rest of NYC I believe.
Politically I think it’s more conservative, like Long Island is, as it’s actually more suburban.

They are all over the construction sites. Commercial and residential. How are the commercial companies putting them on payroll? Residential they're putting a hurting on carpenter's. They do it all. Framing, sheetrock, tile. So the customer doesn't have to hire a bunch of different subs. Doesn't affect me. None of them can speak English or take the classes to get a plumbing license. The sites in Mexico we deal with, we have to walk them thru every single thing, and they are the IT people in our org.
