How did it work for Arnold?
All bodies work differently. It's not simply copy and paste. You have to find the diet and workout that works for you.
-
Arnold didn't copy Platz's leg workouts.
-
A zillion people tried following Arnolds routine. but I highly doubt that most people are retarded enough to try to follow Platz "routine" !
What a fucking weirdo !
-
Follow Arnold's routine.
Result: become Mr. Olympia, movie star, get rich, marry a Kennedy, become Governor, impregnate the maid and sire a bastard, turn woke.
-
I believe Getbiggers refer to him as Tom Faketz now

yeah follow your lifestyle & end up a drunk drug addict loser who whines like a little bitch on a bodybuilding forum about his non stop health issues.

I would modify that statement by saying there's a red thread running through all successful bodybuilding routines. Training routines are like diets or drugs, yes responses vary but the treatments with drugs for illnesses for example are by and large the same across the population. The dosages vary for best effects but not by THAT much. I believe the same goes for training.
So I would say all bodies work the same! That would be more correct than all bodies work differently.
But I understand where you're coming from. Bodies respond differently but still within a pretty narrow spectrum.

I think it is called the "effective dose" in that it has been determined to be the minimal amount at which the desired effect is achieved.

Yes. And it can vary between individuals but there's still a pretty narrow range for those differences. Otherwise doctors couldn't prescribe anything. That's why I'm against saying you have to find what works for you wrt training for muscle for example. Someone may need 1 set and another 2 or 3 sets, but it's not like 1 set or repetitions vs a thousand sets and repetitions.
Elsewhere I've argued body building drug dosages are the same. It's not like one top pro is at 400mg a week and another needs 5 grams. I believe if you had the top ten Mr O drug regimens they wouldn't be extremely dissimar wrt to dose.

How did it work for Arnold?
Arnold was more ecto-mesomorph. He needed more volume to see full development.
Platz was more mesmorph or endo-mesmorph. He needed more intensity and less frequency for full development.
-
Platz is one of my original inspirations, but truth be told, a majority of his training approaches are hugely destructive, and, frankly, unnecessary.
Without drugs, Tom’s way of things would have left him stringy, collapsed and tanked.
I’ve worked out with the guy.
This isn’t meant to slag the man and his impact. He sure went for it.
However, truth is truth.

Exactly. The intensity of his workouts would cause too much catabolic hormones to flood through a drug free trainer's system.

Stop making sensible statements.

Are you serious?
Because Getbig is no place for it.

Yes he did.
Fortress has also buried a 635-lb squat well below parallel on multiple occasions.
I'd be beyond satisfied to so that with 435.
