So start weightlifting at 3 months not 5 weeks that may explain why I have pain in my side and nausea. I haven't done any lifting since Sunday the heavier bench presses seems to have my abdomen feeling tight and stressed threw up last night had real bad acid reflux as well only had half a bowl of chicken dumplings so far today. Plan was to squat Monday but have taken additional rest instead. Stomach just isn't good just took 2 gummies hoping to reduce the inflammation.

I am waiting longer for my abdomen muscles to recover from my workout more than the muscles I supposedly trained as abs are feeling every workout and just cant go everyday after 2-3 days they are toast.

YOU IDIOT,we all warned you not to start back too early.

A hernia surgery is major fucking trauma on the body.

Take off 5 years like I did, then in 6 months after several setbacks after re-starting, I`ll pester you to death to post some pics!  :D

I see I missed a few episodes of the Bhanky Road House Side Show.

But he had hernia surgery?  Hope it all went well.  Bro, rest up some.  You don't need to prove anything by rushing back and risking additional injury.

Haven't watched It yet (saved it) thanks for posting .... went to my Dr today wants to schedule surgery right away (umbilical hernia) said it will be bad if it fully rips / tears ...  I'm still waiting. Bit tho ... can't be out of work / need the money and don't have enough sick days accrued at new job!

Sorry to hear.  What caused it?  How long ago was it and is it still causing you pain?

What's the "new" job?

I got an umbilical hernia from squating too heavy and maybe not having my belt properly tight. Worst pain ever during recovery and lasted a while. Someone's crazy to try to get back to lifting soon afterwards. You have to realize that you'll be out of action for several weeks maybe even months. It's a hard surgery to get over. Best wishes Bhanky!

Bhank got better advice from GB than his own doctor.

Bhank did disobey his doctor by going surfing before he was supposed to though and then wiped out hard.

and then gave 150% effort playing golf with his wife and some retards in order to "win" even though none of them knew it was a competition

x2 also played Top Golf where he soundly beat those women, probably too early into the recovery.

And he was much, much taller than all those women he beat. He said so himself and proved it with pictures.

Honestly it was total domination. They didn't stand a chance.

I had a double inguinal hernia likely from squatting and dead lifting. Had a repair at 21 years old. I could have gone back to light lifting after a month or two but I was sort of anxious so I actually took a whole year off. I'm glad I did. No issues since then.

Bhanks is squatting and deadlifting after a few weeks. What a dolt.

I have no idea what caused it (except for weightlifting) I just noticed it more and more in pictures and other people started pointing it out ... I have it now ( see pic) and need to schedule surgery very soon! It's pretty painless actually....,  but the dr says if it bursts..well not good

A year was probably excessive. But bhanks is likely jumping the gun too quickly.

Powerlifter friend of mine has the mesh repair... Fully healed in 12 weeks, was back to deadlifting 700 lbs after a 1-month "ramp-up" progressive training cycle...

I have done this procedure in 2 cervical and 2 lumbar herniated disks:

Recovery time is excellent. I highly recommend it in cases where the hernia is in its earlier stages. I also recommend a good health insurance.

Good to know Falco but that's a different kind of herniation.

Yes, but how will that mesh feel in two years time?

That’s when reality can hit..
