San Juan, PR is a surprise.
I was there 5 years ago and the majority of the place was a shithole.
There were some nice areas by the beaches, but 5 minutes away it was 3rd world shit.

What is there to do in Trenton, NJ?
There are multiple opportunities to spend time with nature in the Trenton metro area. Mercer Meadows is a 1,600-acre park with separate districts that include meadows, gravel trails and fishing spots. Cyclists, walkers and runners can take advantage of the Lawrence Hopewell Trail, which runs through Lawrence and Hopewell townships, as well as the 77-mile trail at the D&R Canal State Park.

The Delaware River makes up the city’s western border and offers a place for boating and aquatic sports. At the 2,500-acre Mercer County Park, visitors can enjoy an ice skating center, tennis courts and a marina. Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed offers an arboretum. Princeton Battlefield State Park is the site of a Revolutionary War battle where British and American soldiers fought.

There are multiple options for nightlife in the Trenton metro area. Those who like to drink locally can visit Working Dog Winery, Hopewell Valley Vineyards or River Horse Brewing Co. Lived in San Diego in the late 90's. Totally deserves to be number 1. Don't know what it's like now though.

Amazing how San Diego went from one of the most affordable big cities to live in 15 -20 years ago to now the most expensive.
