Fur Burger, best in every state.

This is a real tough one for sure.
3 Road side burger joints
C&L frostys in sherborn.
Casey’s diner in natick (famous for hotdogs best I’ve ever had) but very good burgers also.
Dairy joy in Weston
Fast food I’d go with 5 guys
Chain restaurants I’d go with Applebees quesadilla burger.
Burger for me has to have Mayo, ketchup, lettuce, tomato and pickles

Burgertron, Eagle Bay, Western Australia. The Biggus Piggus double w/ bacon.
Someone put years into that business. It's beautiful. All I needed was calories. Found the burger I'd been looking for all my life.

I never understood the Shake Shack popularity. They are basic at best. The one in NYC has monster lines of people waiting outside to get in. Weird.
Flannigans has the best burger (imo) in S FL for a chain.
Le Tub has the best burger for a stand alone spot. This is their idea of "medium rare" :

Burgers in Japan are almost comical in some regards. From "Titty Sliders" (for a race that barely has any tits at all), to Ghost Burgers, etc. Here are two from Yokohama I took photos of this past May. I did not order them, they were on the display when I was walking by.

The butcher by me grinds up choice meat if it's the slightest imperfection to sell as a steak in his show case. The hamburger meat is the most amazing I have ever had. So spoiled by it I can't have a chain place burger and truly enjoy it. The crazy part is a half pound burger costs $6 bucks there. I fire up the grill and 13 minutes later I have an off the charts burger.

Burgers are probably my favorite food.
I have had an elk burger with an egg / avocado for breakfast the past three weeks until I ran out.
I'd say Mac and Walt's by me.

They have a burger called "pen and pasture" with pulled pork....pretty damn good.
I was at Trillium brewery in Canton last night, and their burger looked incredible (they have real chefs for their food), but haven't tried it. I will next time.
For fast food, probably 5 guys, but I even like the mcdonalds mcdouble lol (until after I eat two and feel like shit).

Burger Fi is very good.

I'm partial to greasy spoons. There's a lot around here that can do a very good burger to great burger. If I had to go chain, I think I'd go White Caste overall. There's just something about those little things. Maybe my tastes have changed, but I haven't had great fries in a while. McDonalds fries are still decent, but not as good as I remember. Perhaps there's something to the lard vs vegetable oil debate with them.

Yeah. you just have to upscale the cooking time though. Sort of like having to order up on Asian made Polos. LOL

Standard In N Out.
It’s probably the only example of a chain doing it better than an any independent.

Yeah, I've never had a bad experience there.

And it's vaguely sexual.
I like that from a place serving me food.

Had one at Wicked Willys as mentioned, fukk was it good... Many to choose from but I had a basic cheddar w/ sautéed onions.

McDonald’s hard to go wrong there
