Great physique.  His was the first Pro seminar I'd been to, and at that point I hadn't been to the Grand Prix so he was also the first Pro I'd ever seen in the flesh

We were all sort mingling around waiting for him when he strode through the crowd - his back width from behind made my jaw drop...

It was also the first time I'd ever heard anyone talk openly about the gear side of things - very honest fella  8)

And wasn't he one of those lock-down heroes that fought back against all the restrictions - anyone know how he's doing now?

What did he have to say about gear?

What did he have to say about gear?

Christ - long time ago - maybe 92/93/94?  I can only remember a few tid-bits and I may get my Pros mixed up (went to a few seminars in the end)  if that's the case forgive me Eddie!

He wasn't too keen on orals now he was ripped, but they were OK to bulk if you were afraid of needles as a beginner or liked a beer

He was also a fan of that Aussie vet combo called 'Drive' - pretty sure it was eq/boldenone with methandriol dipropianate - that stuff that was supposed to 'keep the receptors open' (oh brother)

He said get your hands on as much primo and tren as we could - so I promptly went and cleaned out my main contact's special gym locker of Schering Redijects and legit Parabolan!  I fucking LOVED that next Summer - truth be told like most I kind of started as a bit of a permabulker and it was my first real cut, and I was so happy - no, actually surprised - how it came off, hence my taking a plunge into my first tiny show.  In fact thinking about it, he probably got about 4 or 5 of us doing locals/regionals for a couple of years after that

Oh, I think it was him that pointed out you could get free pins and barrels, wipes, etc from the local AIDS clinic/needle exchange (got some stories about that place LOL)

I’m pretty sure he’s still carrying on…

He helped me a little bit with my first contest way back when he was promoting Mentzer’s Heavy Duty.
