Post by: Coach is Back! on October 31, 2023, 09:11:34 AM
Hamstring tear according to RX Muscle

It’s with a heavy heart I won’t be stepping stage this year due to unforeseen and unfortunate reasons that remind us we’re only human.

Tearing a muscle this close to the contest? Come on man…

He’s lean, dry, and jacked up on androgens being this close to the show .. just needs to get a little overzealous with the hamstring curls or w/e and boom

He could have made it up, but it’s certainly within the realm of belief

You think he's sharing his IG account with fallsview?  ;D

Acne/nappy rash makes me think it's his leg. The lack of varicose veins in has calf may potentially be due to him keeping his leg elevated/laying down. Could they even be seen from the rear?

I seriously doubt it was training related but it did compound the inevitable that most muscle/tendon injuries happen close to shows. I think it’s safe to say in this case that it’s the gear.

Kamal Elgargni competed with a calf tear. You can see it looked bloated. Guessing Nicks hams and probably his glute and calf on that leg looked too bloated.

It’s a torn hamstring(s) not sure which one but on the onset of a tear, even just one of the three, you ain’t walking very well if at all especially if it needs to be reattached not to mention discoloration and swelling.

He’s a young man for satan’s sake.  ::)

So the guy spends an entire year deep-frying his innards … for absolutely nothing.

As others say, how does someone injure his hamstrings to such a severity, and within weeks of THE big contest, that he needs to remove himself from said competition?

In contemporary bodybuilding terms, a year is worth five to 10 in the eighties and back.

The window is SMALL before the body begins its deterioration.

As well, Nick’s momentum as an exciting prospect is already losing steam. It’s not like anyone who knows anything had him placing top, say, three, in this year’s O.

Certainly not top two.

I feel bad for him.  Top level guy getting injured at the last minute has to hurt. This is how he makes his living.  If he tore it off the bone and has to have it reattached with anchors he's looking at many months of rehab and down time. Maybe it's a muscle tear that doesn't need an operation but it could be mispenned now.

For a site devoted to bodybuilding, drugs, nincompoops and whores I'm not surprised at the venom directed at him.

Basically, tore his hamstring from standing up.

Its quite possible, I think, that we may never see him compete again.

He pushed himself to the limit last year. And image all the chemicals he took this year for the O, only to not compete. Man that's got to suck.

His kidneys will thank him for the rest though. Will be interesting to see if he goes entirely off for half a year or so, to let his whole body and his organs to recover, or whether he stays on to hold size and to help his injury repair. I bet he stays on some things, including test and low dosage GH throughout.

“… had my wife rub it out …”

So the guy misses the one contest for which he has supremely damaged his organs this past year because he sufficiently fucked his hamstrings standing up after performing some chest exercise.

Got it.

Pathetic.

So the guy misses the one contest for which he has supremely damaged his organs this past year because he sufficiently fucked his hamstrings standing up after performing some chest exercise.

Got it.

Pathetic.

Now he’s like Professor X rolling all over the place.

Does the IFBB cover this injury ? As it’s a work place incident.

He should have stopped completely after pull his hams. Even doing shoulders there is unwanted tension in the whole body.

I bet he stays on some things, including test and low dosage GH throughout.

he claimed TRT offseason , must go to the same clinic and hankins

Yes. Pretty common. Happened to me years back doing bench press.

For pushing the feet onto the floor?

For pushing the feet onto the floor?

Yeap. But nothing serious.

Absolutely horrific.

What's interesting (to me at least) is that I noticed those veins have all disappeared now and the legs are flat, just leaving purple tracks where they were... on both legs... ???

Any GetBig broscience to explain that one please?

This is what I meant - see those livid tracks where the veins are/were - what's the drug protocol for a ham tear?  Something must have dropped his BP or something..?
