He was fun to watch. Did not put up with lazy players.

Had a legendary career including a gold medal with Jordan in the Olympics.
Should have tried harder to keep Bird at Indiana though I think.

I loved Bobby Knight as a coach regardless of his temperament (passion) but what’s really impressive with him even though he was an asshole at times, his athletes still respected him. His athletes had a 90% graduation rate!

Larry's high school coach was a father figure and had a totally different style than Knight.

if they didn't he would choke them. coaches had more sway over their players back then, because they could always revoke the players scholarship.

I am hopeful to see a tribute to him wear he is dressed as an actual knight because of how brave he was.
