Yep. You and Coach are absolutely right. When Brock joined the UFC, people took issue with a "fake wrestler" joining the organization.

Nothing whatsoever fake about Brock.

He had a 106-5 collegiate wrestling record.

That is almost as impressive as JustPlaneJane's women's world record 40-yard dash time of 4.33s which was on video, verified by three Getbiggers. Walter Sobchak, JustPlaneJane, and an unidentified Getbigger verified her dash. JustPlaneJane doesn't post pictures or videos on here - Princess L told her not to.

So Brock Lesnar is incredibly impressive.

He has been beaten by very few men - under 10 men ever. Three in the UFC [Frank Mir, who he destroyed in the rematch, Cain Velasquez, and Allister Overeem], and the college wrestlers who beat him.

Stephen Neal beat him, and later went on to play in the NFL. You have to be a massive athletic freak to play football with no high school background in it - and I believe this applies to both Stephen Neal and Brock Lesnar.
