Funny you mentioned that - yes, I recall that. No idea what's happening here.

I have heard of bodybuilders gaining 35-lb within a week of a contest. Dave Pulcinella did this in one of the "Raising the Bar" DVDs. There are pictures.

Seems pretty standard. Can't be healthy though.

Some of the guys in powerlifting routinely cut 30-35lbs during a water drop now. Anyway, takeaway from the video is he's just been shoveling tons of decent and junk food down the past few days.
