Title: 2023 Olympia - This year was another milestone in the regression of bodybuilding
Post by: Schadenfreude on November 08, 2023, 03:22:41 PM
1. Video and picture quality and quantity at an all time low availability, people were discussing at length over 2 pictures taken with a potato

2. The 'main guys' were turbo manlets, stocky muscle bound dwarfs

3. The guy who won had huge site injection swellings under both armpits

Will this sport ever turn around for the better? Seems like it has been downhill for at least 15 years

Extremely hard to identify with infected dwarfs.

How was Expo attendance? I have not gone in years but, in prior years, Las Vegas and Columbus, OH attendance was amazing. I read that there has been a general downturn in Orlando tourism lately. Not sure if that impacted this event.

Wow, that photo of Lunsford with arm raised and trophy in other hand shows the bulbous synthol blob under his arm. I guess I have to agree looks pretty embarrasing for the sport.

Pictures from my friend Jeff Binns - great guy, known him for 10+ years (had lunch with him Thursday)

Expo attendance on Friday was ok, but Saturday it was packed with people.  Orlando was good, but I still like Vegas better...

Thank you, Ron. I was looking forward to Team Andro coverage, but it seems like they are no longer active.

Not much different than last year.

If they don’t look pointy, then they don’t have enough oil in the them.

Why don't they have plain backgrounds anymore with one color on stage anymore? There is too much going on with color schemes and advertisements to focus on the physiques.
