The first 2 pics are from before the surgery on July 31 2023. The July 29th pic is holding some water and the May pic is shredded after being sick but the point is to show the hernia which these do you can clearly see an improvement in the pics from this week. It's not perfect but it's a lot better. I will post the dec 11th 2022 pic next as it's the closest in size and condition as now it appears the hernia was worse by the May pic or may just be more visible when lean.
It still feels a little funky, but I would say I am 90% recovered as far as strength and I am clearly not holding the water I was holding July 29th. Based on the results I am seeing I would recommend the surgery to other getbiggers who have been ignoring their hernia I ignored mine for 2 years.

I do appear to still have some swelling around the hernia repair. I do expect further changes and it may look different when leaner or heavier but regardless it is better than before.

How would you describe the "funky feeling"?

I beleive a hernia is the same as an ulcer , what happens is inflamation . Maybe too much heme-iron

Baking soda, beer, beans for the healing...

I am the most Swol in that one as it was just prior to surgery and I was pushing just over 230 although the hernia is visible. I am just under 220 in the mornings right now. But focus has been on recovery not bulking yet.

What a scam modern medicine is: they won’t tell you how much it’ll be up front, and afterwards if they botch it you can’t get your money back.

Just like Celltech.

Sorry to hear this. Give it a year and reevaluate. I’ve got this small soft lump above my bellybutton that doesn’t feel like a hernia, but it protrudes on certain exercise involving a tightened core like lat pullovers or even tricep pushdowns. It came on less than a year after my hernia repair. Not going to mess with it unless it hurts or gets bigger. It doesn’t feel like my last hernia

The twisting bicep pose is a great shot for you. It really highlights the O frame you have!

There are different types of hernias you can get in different locations. Sometimes it is just cosmetic but other times it needs to be fixed regardless of how it looks. Did they tell you that your hernia needed to be fixed for some medical reason? If that's the case, then how it appears now might not matter as much and your operation might not have been "botched" even if you aren't satisfied with how it looks.
