I did them for some time. Though they are good for some, I concluded there are better ways to build my lower body without wrecking my arms.

I have never done them. Doesn't it fuck up your arms? Can't imagine using a lot of weight held in that position.

Seen a guy do 600 plus on these one day. He trained for strongman...thats a hard lift right there. Couldnt imagine the pressure on your arms

As you know not all exercises are good for everyone but i donīt have a problem with them.
Pad the bar & youīre good to go & you can drop the bar if you canīt make a rep.
I just find it better for me than front squats
