According to some "experts", the U.S. is withdrawing from being the world's policeman.
This will affect the U.S. minimally as it is pretty much resource independent and geographically protected.
The idea of Russia and China creating a new world monetary system is also considered nonsense as they are declining rapidly demographically.

Time will tell.
