Ugliest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.

Ugliest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.
Clearly you have never seen Hillary Clinton close up, brother...*SHUDDER* :o :o ;D
But yes, you are correct that truck is fugly.
-
Can I get it in Deisel?
-
We can’t get them downunder.
The pricing looks like it’s around the Model3/Y money which surprised me. I’d buy one today if we got that pricing down here and I’d sell my current Ute.

Ugliest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.
To be fair, that is religion in general.

Is that yours? If it is my apologies, I truly just find that thing to be the ugliest car on the road along with the Kia soul and the ford eco sport but I guess everyone thinks differently. Oh yeah and the new electric hummer. My buddies brother is a pretty rich guy and was the first person in mass to have one, thinking he was hot shit as usual. I had to burst his bubble and say how fucking ugly it is haha.

Nooooooo I would never buy one. Take another look, do you see the control arm bolt positioned 1-2” above the tire? Hit a speedbump and you’re rupturing your tire and/or destroying your suspension.
It’s so bad i thought it was photoshopped but people have posted a few different photos confirming it
-
I actually like the body design no idea on the suspension, but you can change all that my current truck is all aftermarket suspension. However, I don't want to go electric yet. I don't feel the proper infrastructure is there to charge these things.

Yeah I saw that.

Come on Hankins, you like the body on that ugly fucking shit heap? You are a truck/car guy I can’t believe you think that thing looks good.

Great for the

$60,990 starting price?
-
I have a $100 deposit for the dual motor but not completely sold on it at the moment. I like the front but not the side or back
-
No interest in electric. Battery tech is a joke, and so is charging infrastructure.
Cybertruck is teed up to be the greatest fail of all time. Libs hate pickups and Elon. Pickup truck guys hate electric vehicles and high price tags. And it's way ugly. He'll be lucky to sell 1000 units no matter how many arrows Joe Rogan shoots at one.
-

Fuck off rambone and get out of my god damn bushes.

I'll keep my Porsche - Thanks.
;D

Fuck off rambone and get out of my god damn bushes.
Let’s make a deal. I can stay in the bushes, but if you catch me, you can beat me to a bloody pulp. You have to also realize this deposit was made during the days of BLM rioting, chimpin out and dindus blocking traffic. Stainless steel, speed and supposed “bulletproof” windows seemed very appealing at the time!
-
if I make it to 200 K posts I'm going to get one of these. :D
-
I'll buy the Walmart version.

No surprise, it matches your physique

Something like that.
Surprisingly cheap. Thought it might be priced at $500k or something
The novelty is surely the biggest selling point. Who will want this crap if everyone has it?
-
I guess he’s telling Porsche to go fuck themselves 🤣

Ok I’ll give it a pass due to the times hahaha. You are welcome in the bushes anytime.
-

Who is the only bodybuilder known to have owned one?
-
I am guessing most people who buy this won’t be using it as a primary vehicle. It will be a second or third vehicle…. It is a toy for people with disposable income. And there is nothing wrong with that. People who need a real truck will look elsewhere.
-

You hear that Kwon and Taffin!? Stay the hell out of MY bushes!
-
For my use they need to solve the load/range issues. Getting 200 miles per charge, optimistic, while pulling a trailer isn’t much use to me
-
I'll keep my Porsche - Thanks.
;D
Imagine you bought a Porsche so slow that you need to put it on the Cybertruck, to go faster
-
https://www.yahoo.com/autos/tesla-delivers-first-cybertruck-production-212200699.html
Why, did you steal one?
:D
-

Does it have spinning wheels?! ;D
-

Yep - so slow - let's see them go round F1 track or the twisty back lanes
Here in the UK .
Much more to driving than just 0 -60 time.
I'll keep my porsche.

Looks like a super-sized DeLorean

Cybertruck bullet test.
Nice vid, Wiggs. Thanks
-
i=3UEXjIxQXlNSXQyq
That is impressive I wonder how it handles a road course though Porchse had a hundred years of experience with suspension breaking and stearing. I get the electric accelerates like a madman but how does it handle?
-

It will out tow a small truck not sure about a big diesel but they showed it towed up against an F150 and it pulled the F150 like nothing

Shoot the windows & Tyres - Simple.

I'm on the market for Cybergenics.

If I remember correctly I think Sergio O. was pictured driving one of these.

It's offset enough to not be in conflict, it's not directly above the tire.
You can't honestly think they would release a truck with years of R&D with a fatal flaw like that. ;D
-
i=3UEXjIxQXlNSXQyq
I don't believe this, i think it's just hype marketing.
If this is true, i bet the Cybertruck is good for maybe 1 pull like that with a full battery.
A good friend of mine is on the waiting list for the truck.
Should be interesting if it performs well.
-
Cybertruck bullet test.
Wonder what's behind that steel? You and I both know that gauge steel isn't stopping those rounds.
-

They were kit cars originally made in Florida, based off Mustangs. Sergio's was combustible.

Will any of you be in the market for a Cybertruck?
No.
This truck isn't winning any beauty pageants. It's more likely to snag a role as the villain's getaway vehicle in a dystopian blockbuster, perhaps Mad Max meets Demolition Man.
Plus, for $60K, it's a no for me dawg.

They never seem to show the cargo area which is what most truck owners are concerned about (except those who just want to drive around suburbia in a truck).

Aesthetics of a George Foreman Grill.
Thing can haul ass off the line, but … what else?
This rushing to electrics is gonna be the regular peoples’s downfall, I’m telling you. Between battery shortcomings and the dramatic lack of charging infrastructure, this is going to be a disaster.
And what of the charging times?
-
-
I saw this today...hahahah

dummy,,, the spindle/upright moves with the wheel/tire as it is attached firm to the wheel bearing which is attached to the wheel itself.
only would be an issue if you went up in wheel rolling diameter, which is not a good thing to do anyways as it will throw off speedo/trip-meter and other things
-
Wonder what's behind that steel? You and I both know that gauge steel isn't stopping those rounds.
it's 1.8mm, 301 cold rolled stainless steel, material which should also be 50% higher tensile strength than regular cold rolled steel
so its not your average 0.6mm regular car door panel, but 3x thicker, and 50% stronger
-
Looks like one of mine crappy steel sheet jobs. Good news is that anyone without skills can repair a door panel, without making it uglier..
-

All that steel, plus the batteries, that thing must weight a lot.
-
Fuck the "Truck"
Reminds me of the old Volkswagon "The Thing" but it`s even fuglier.
-
Looks like shit in person. I will not be purchasing it which is a shame since I am a former sheet metal worker.
-

it does
idk why anyone would want a bulletproof car though. If you're wealthy enough to afford it you wouldn't live in a area where you acually could need it :D

I also wonder about how much cumulative time loss the charging times will create. If California goes all electric in a few years, has anyone run the numbers on this? I’m not against electric if it’s proven to be a better way (not for the environment because that is political not scientific). I love the acceleration and speed - the FW t that the damn thing is bullet proof. But a few things I haven’t heard anyone address.
- as said above Charging Time - won’t this cause massive gridlock if millions of Californians are waiting hours to charge?
- what about the fact that they already have rolling blackouts at times? Won’t have tens of millions of vehicles using hundreds of millions of charging hours be an enormous problem?
- what about transportation? California is a major hub for goods transported all over the country. If no combustion engine trucks are running in California and EVEN IF California solves the above issues - they trucks don’t all STAY in California… lol seems like the beginnings of a gigantic cluster fck!
-

time loss?
I only charge my EV at night when I'm asleep. No loss.
the powergrid probably needs upgrading if everyone goes EV, sure. But it doesn't happen over night. And the powergrid is ever increasing anyways because of population growth

Petrol you have to drive and line up to fill up
EV you plug in wt home and charge
Where are all these people driving 400km+ each day that they must go to charging stations?
I have a new Model Y Performance and I charge at home from Solar for free. Our petrol car now sits in the driveway as a backup, rarely gets used because the EV is so much easier to live with day to day.
We were told years ago Chins couldn’t possibly have EVs because their energy grid couldn’t support them. Shanghai is 50% EVs and they have no energy issues. My analyst lives in Shanghai and he rides an ebike everywhere, if they need a car they either Uber or rent an EV for the day.
In Australia we were told the same thing, now 9.5% of new cars sold are EVs. Solar panels on homes are much more commonplace than 4yrs ago.

are the power grids actually increasing in size and numbers or are they being taxed more because it’s more of the system being put under stress?
My limited understanding is that this infrastructure is just being taxed as they expand the footprint.

possibly I have no idea maybe that's a factor. Guess it depends on the level of corruption..
But as far as the power grid, theres a limit of how much voltage you can raise.. Because of insulation needed for arcing, safety and what not. Then the need to upgrade transformers in all locations for given voltage increase...

Half the country deals w rolling blackouts on hot days just from air conditioning loads. Adding a bunch of EVs charging isn’t gonna help matters at all. Even if they charge at night, people use AC in the evenings and at night, too.
The infrastructure COULD definitely be upgraded, likely for a small fraction of our bloated military budget. Zero political will for that though. Much better to send money to Ukraine/Israel or fearmonger over trannies, apparently
