Imagine you bought a Porsche so slow that you need to put it on the Cybertruck, to go faster

I am so tired of hearing how fast EV cars (and now trucks) are, who cares? Fuck EV's. I will always drive a car with a real combustion engine.
My preference and current car is a 2022 BMW M4 xDrive and modded of course, a body kit, a lot of carbon fiber, etc. and engine up to about 550hp.

You sound like a badass.

Yes, electric cars are fast from 0-100. The Porsche has about 30-40MPH for top speed. You want to take a 600 mile trip? The Porsche will get there two hours earlier doing the speed limit.

Where gas cars really beat out electric is in handling. A lighter car will always handle better and there is only so much they can do with suspensions and breaks to mask having a thousand pound battery strapped to the bottom of a car.

True. I want to hear 0-200 MPH times. Suddenly all the electric car people get quiet.

No I guess I am just "old school", I don't want a speaker to make the sound of a real engine. lol
-
EV's will always beat a combustion engine on start due to the instant torque of an electric motor. Although I had to show a Tesla today getting on the highway that my BMW is faster.

The DeLorean "finish" on the regular model looks tacky. And if they just added a little curvature it would a lot look better. It looks like a low res/polygon model in a 3D program, which is usually a starting point.

Have you told Elon this yet? If so, did he tell you to “fuck off”?

He's recalling all Cybertrucks and halting manufacturing until he can implement my ideas. Elon confines his acerbic critiques to Bob Iger and those who wish to subvert the 1st amendment.

Two completely different types of vehicles. So the hyped up golf cart beat a porsche, so what, I'd rather drive my M5 any day over any electric pos!
-
What’s the point of going fast if you can’t hear it?

The test track was 1/8 of a mile, not 1/4. Base level 911 would have won over 1/4. Not that it matters, as we all know electric vehicles have impressive acceleration.
I’ve seen the CT referred to as IncEl Camino.

Bro!

How much does an acceleration like that drain the battery?
Or does it matter?

There's a guy on youtube racing his Tesla Plaid almost every day. He's able to do 10-20 1/4 mile runs in the low 9 seconds.

Nailing the accelerator pedal in the Rimac Nevera is like being fired from a cannon. Look at these numbers, independently verified, says Rimac, by technicians from performance data logging specialists Racelogic and Dewesoft: 0 to 60 mph in 1.74 seconds; 0 to 124 mph in 1.82 seconds; 0 to 186 mph in 9.23 seconds. The 0 to 249 mph sprint takes 21.32 seconds. Check out the gallery from the day

Angus Mackenzie (editor in chief of Motor Trend) is my favorite automotive journalist. He can explain what's happening in the industry and where it's going better than anyone. The article that really impressed me made me understand the significance of what's going on in China.
This is the article. Superb. I'm not sure why, but the British excel at automotive journalism - EVO, Topgear, etc.

The only thing that would beat the Nevera is the new Tesla Roadster with SpaceX package. If that is ever released.

Never buy a new model car.
Wait a few years till they get the bugs out.
