Title: Aaron Singerman and RedCon
Post by: dknole on December 20, 2023, 05:41:23 AM
Whatever happened to Aaron, used to be all over social media and now at least it seems he is nowhere to be found.

Did the truth or any details ever come out why the Feds allowed him out years early into his jail sentence? What and who did he tell on (allegedly) to get years off of his sentence? Does he have a rare disease that allowed for compassionate early release? Did the world pass him by and forget him and RedCon?

Vince Industry powerhouse Vince Goodrum advised him to take a step back from public life.

Still around, but very quiet - https://www.instagram.com/aaronsingerman/ .

His wife left him official right around the time he got out, and he was pitching his autobiography - "RedCon Rising". I don't think the book did well in pre-orders, as the release date has been pushed back a few times. It's a vanity project, so I guess he's waiting till it gets enough orders to justify a printing.

Aaron hired Gene Bukovi a few months ago from Bang Energy so I'm assuming that he's running the show nowadays.   Energy drinks are all the rage these days...I mean look at Logan Paul's Prime drink so you're going to want someone who knows the product to run the ball and wax

5 years in prison doesn't mean "5 years".   First off, You only have to serve 85% to be eligible for release as long as you haven't screwed up.   You also get good time credit along with time shaved off for participating in programs, drug counseling, etc.

PJ likely hasn't acted up and honestly he's not in prison for any violent crimes or messing with a child.   He's a low level offender.   Boccuzzi got out this year and he also got 5 years.   But seriously, I don't know why anyone would want him to serve anymore time than he has to.   I never got along with PJ but he and Aaron shouldn't have gotten any time.   The products were legal at the time and were not banned.   They should have just reformulated the products and destroyed the rest but its like falsely arresting someone and then getting charged with contraband in the cell.  They wouldn't have been in the cell if they weren't falsely arrested

Vince was right. There's a little time shaved off for good behavior, then there are programs that knock off time for voluntarily going to rehab, educational programs, counseling, etc.... I'd bet he got into some of those.

The other two guys are out already - Ventrella in Jan of 2023, Boccuzzi got out just before Thanksgiving. All of them - Braun, Ventrella, and Boccuzzi all got about 4 to 4 1/2 years, and Braun is still doing the most time with about 2 1/2 years of that sentence having to be done before he's out.

Singerman did the least at 11 months of his 4 1/2 years.

Vince is 2 years 85% of 5 years or are these percentages based off of supplement marketing?

Going to prison in most cases is a reasonable enough argument for divorce, and the whole "standing by your man" thing is kinda BS. I'd consider any woman doing that to be a dumb bitch.

Agreed.  When he was locked up, his wife started hanging out with other miserable women in Boca. They commiserate how awful their husbands are and how they want to be free.  Typical dipshit Western woman.  Aaron will be fine.

100%  They're all the same.  Drive like assholes in their high end suvs, complain about their husbands but have no way of supporting themselves, terrible moms who have nannies do all the work.  Just miserable complaining bitches.    I'd like to move an hour north or so but my business is here and there are some nice thing in Boca/delray, just not the people.

Depends on the strength of the marriage. Some kind of public/high class situation - yeah, it would probably do the wife well to get out of being associated with a tarnished name. But normal couples, I'd like to think I'd be in a relationship where it was solid enough to last. Depending on length of time, of course ;)

Singerman got a get out of jail free card. You'd imagine he'd be grateful that he'd be able to spend time with his wife and kids and save them from the embarrassment of him going to jai;.

Instead he starts boozing it up and acting recklessly on a boat and whatever the other stuff he was doing that eventually got him sent away anyway. Ex wife made the right decision.

Almost, Hi Tech pharmaceuticals, their biggest creditor, tried to force them into involuntary bankruptcy, but they were able to reorganize and buy some time. They did have to fire a bunch of people and drop a bunch of big sponsorships.

All their hope seems to be in trying to get a Redcon canned energy drink to go mainstream.

That might explain why MD shut down. I think it was Redcon was basically keeping them in business as they had very few other serious advertisers/sponsorships. (Hi Tech sponsored their youtube stuff)

If that's true, they're screwed.  I've only tried a few flavors but they were pretty underwhelming.  A saturated market with a lot of better products is bad news for them.

Yeah, it was sorta sad. The press releases were a bunch of "We had to lay off xxx, and cancel sponsorships of this one and that one, but we did hire this guy from Bang Energy!". I checked out the reviews of the drinks in a number of different places, and they were very ho-hum. No one is blown out of the water by them.

They have managed to get some shelf space in certain Walgreens, Walmarts, etc.... for their products, so that's some decent news for them.

That being said, the social interaction between the company and buyers has been awful for a while. Low energy, and unhappy. Their biggest athlete is Dana (DLB), and the ads are like this now - https://www.instagram.com/redcon1/reel/CzKImAcR2F-/ , sort of a half hearted attempt to turn it into a lifestyle brand.

They also were trying a big push to to become a brand favored by the military. That seems lukewarm as well. One of the funnier interactions I saw, was a fitness girl and vet pushing RedCon drinks as a way to stay alert during the ACFT and other fitness tests. Half the thread were people going "yeah! I love energy drinks, Monster's the ticket."  or something close.

Are Bang energy drinks still a thing?

They still do well based on name, Monster bought them during their bankruptcy sale. The brand was strong, they couldn't survive fighting with Monster Energy though. But there is competition - Ghost, C4, etc.... Monster and its associated brands are still the king of energy drinks in terms of sales. They sorta have a Budweiser thing happening, they own so much of the market that even if you don't like them, you might still find yourself buying a sister product.

They will also absolutely destroy you in court if they can - https://www.reuters.com/legal/litigation/monster-energy-adds-293-mln-damages-win-bang-energy-ad-dispute-2023-10-09/ .

It is absolutely crazy how short the shelf life of some of these companies are. I stopped energy drinks/pre-workouts about 4 years ago maybe a little less but BANG was EVERYWHERE! Pallets set at Walmart, huge displays at gas stations, grocery and convenience stores; literally everywhere you would go…. And apparently just like that they are more or less done.
