There were a lot of smaller roles in that movie... Ellis, the limo driver, the news reporter, the chief of police, the terrorist in charge of breaking into the vault, the FBI guys... etc

The actors in those small roles did an outstanding job.

And I have to very much agreed about the calibre of the ensemble. Paul Gleason in particular delighted me with some excellent swearing in Trading Places
