I wonder what a natty dude with the same height would look like, if he implemented the same diet & training program as Greg.

You wonder what a natty of the same height would look like with those diets. Well, common sense tells us, a fatso.

Reading these diets is just as saddening as watching “day of eating” videos.

Heiko Kallbach recently laid out his Off-Season diet plan from back in the day. Every day for breakfast he had 0,5 kg (1,1 pds) of oats and 2 liters of ice cream, during the day he ate 1 kg (2.2 pds) of pasta and every single day a family pizza @ PizzaHut topped with chicken, veggies and noodles, one box of 24 protein bars per day, and 3 tubs of Weight gainer per week. At night another 1 or 2 liters of ice cream.

He even got called out years ago that no one could eat 0,5 kg (1,1 pds) of oats for breakfast so he uploaded a video where he was eating a whole pack with weight gainer and a lil water in like less than 3 minutes (the other guy who was also an IFBB Pro almost puked and couldn't do half the amount :D) Unfortunately the video is down.

It is.  I haven’t eaten something without considering its nutritional profile in 10+ years

Brutal. I’m similar but I do indulge in garbage here and there, like once a month.

According to Nasser, Greg straddled a full sized bath towel... and pulled it back and forth against his crotch until his ass was fully wiped

https://physicalculturestudy.com/2016/06/01/bruce-randall-and-the-most-amazing-transformation-in-bodybuilding/

I used to astound the cooks and men when I sat down to eat. Breakfasts consisting of two quarts of milk, a loaf and a half of bread and 28 fried eggs were not uncommon. I ate four meals a day and never ate between meals unless it was milk. I usually ate breakfast at 6:30, lunch at 11:30, supper at 4:30 and a meal at 9:30 just before bed.

Milk was taken in great quantities with an average of 8 to 10 quarts per day. An average of 12 to 18 eggs per day also comprised my diet. I once drank 19 quarts of milk in one day in addition to regular meals, and once had 171 eggs at breakfast during the course of a week. The boys used to keep score!

To put this into perspective, Randy Roach calculated that if accurate, Randall’s meals constituted about 15,000 calories per day. When Randall was discharged from the Marines in 1954, he weighed 342 lbs. A weight gain of 139 lbs. in just 14 months. Perhaps the most successful bulk in the sport!

Back in civilian life, Randall’s eating habits continued and then some. Within months he closing in on 400lbs. His extra weight served him well in the gym and by the end of 1954, Randall boasted the following lifts:

375lbs. Bench Press
680lbs. Squat
770lbs Deadlift

I met both guys back in the day, Heiko at Fullerton and Kovacs on his and my travels both are known for never part using hgh, meaning unlike us mere mortals who might have used a pen a week, or every 4-5 days  these guys used a pen a shot or a pen a day, with that much HGH you can eat whatever you want without getting fat, water retention is of the charts though.

Their heads were massive.

I have a former friend (former for various reasons) who told me he would shit in his tub while showering or bathing and would then smash his feces down the drain with a shampoo bottle. No, I don’t think he was joking, because he was nuts, and got progressively mentally ill with age.

That's a real shame.

Unless you are a competitive BBer there really is no point.

I eat pretty much anything and look just as good as i did 10 years ago on a strict diet. And i hardly even workout anymore.

I do follow a decent diet compared to most Americans, but i haven't thought about macros or carbs in years.

hanky has been doing this for 20 years.

It's why he can eat garbage and stay lean.

I remember you telling this story before and it's ALWAYS gonna gross me out.  I hate feces and being in a tub full of water and shit would make me vomit.

Also, Kovacs' anal hygiene was deplorable.  We need to have a seance and contact him to give him a good flogging over this.

Kovacs wife had to wipe his butt, it was actually a joke at dinner his arms and back didn't allow him to do it, other times he would shit in the shower and break it up with his feet, show promoter put him at a hotel, the cleaners complained to the hotel management. This one didn't come up at dinner, maybe he used a shamapoo bottle, but I doubt it, the guy could hardly bendover let alone do it in a shower or bath.

Big guy but no shape, ate and juiced himself to death.

Not too great.  :(

Mistake in the article, that's a standing press, also he was using pretty old school equipment,  narrow benches and standard bars, etc.... Here were the numbers      from when he did that big bulk -

Press – 365x2, a single with 375.

Squat – 680.

Good Morning – with legs bent, back parallel to floor, 685.

Deadlift – 730x2, 770x1.

Curl – 228.

DB Bench Press – 220’s x 2.

Bench Press – 3 second pause at chest, 482.

Decline Bench – 220’s x 1.

45 degree Incline Clean & Press – 380x3, 410x1.

¼ Front Squat – 1,320, stood supporting weight at chest
with well in excess of 2,100.

.

When he dropped the weight. Not bad at all, just some loose belly skin.

That seems far more accuarate.

His transformation has to be one of the best ever seen.

When I was a kid I saw him in a department store hawking some barbells for some company...........looked good..........had no clue who he was.

Bodybuilders often rationalize their drug usage by saying “my blood work always comes back perfect. Everything is normal. I’m as healthy as ever.”

But in reality their heart, kidneys, and liver are double the size of a normal person.

We all lie to ourselves about something.  You ever been in a car with someone who refuses to wear a seatbelt?  It’s less common now but 30 years ago it was quite common.  After all, car accidents happen to other people, right?

I've noticed it's mostly fat people who refuse to wear them. Could be because it digs into them more and is more uncomfortable.

Casey Viator told me his blood work was perfect a year or two before he died from a heart attack. When I told him there was more to health than blood tests like VO2 max, resting heart rate and stuff like blood viscosity/ heart inflammation C reactive protein markers which isn't tested in regular blood tests he got pissed and wouldn't talk to me anymore. You can also have a good blood test and have an ekg go nuts when under exercise stress that's tested on a treadmill.
