Both are incredible but Flex was really something special.

Flex was structurally  narrow, send him back to the 70's with no diuretics, no oil etc.....  just under same stuff Sergio was taking ..... he wouldn't be able to reach 200 lbs .

Just throwing a bit of facts (things to take into account)  to make a fair comparison.

Uhhh no flex destroys Sergio from the rear and conditioning wise as well

I can't imagine anyone crushing Sergio. As far as condition,  people rise to the level of their era. If flex competed in the 60s and 70's he'd have a similar level of conditioning as everybody else did of the time.  And vice versa for Sergio.  Sergios propotions gave him an advantage that you can't really train for.

Aren’t you that disgusting slob that has never taken your fat ass to a gym? If I am mistaken and confusing you with someone else I apologize. But if it is you I don’t understand how a fat fck like that can feel like they have a right to speak on the subject of BB??? It’s bizarre

He's paid his dues in other ways. You can tell by the grass stained sneakers....if you know what I mean.

Flex's arms are full of oil already in that pic.  His biceps just look stupid.

So it IS him? The dude that has the sort of Down’s syndrome look? Pics of him at expo with a goofy retard smile usually touching one of the BB?
I don’t understand why he is allowed to attend

This is an excellent point. Comparing BB from different eras is like comparing athletes in almost any sport from different eras. You really can’t. I get that it’s interesting to imagine what it’s, but it’s impossible to know as the era would affect the BB and his results.

That said - I do think that it’s safe to say that today’s BB would be fckd if they were in the 90’s because the 90’s guys were just as insanely huge, but MUCH more shredded. It seems that they aren’t really dieting like they used to. I guess they follow Brian DITBAB’s philosophy that absolutely any food you eat is good.

I'd take Sergio because he had no oil to enhance his appearance. Both had crazy genetics though.

It's Sergio

Either transport flex back to the 70s or transport Sergio to the 90s and the result would be the same - complete obliteration by Oliva.

This is categorically false. From the same show that the picture was taken:

Sergio when he competed in the AAU Mr. America in 1966 you had to prove you were an athlete by Olympic lifting for points. Five years removed from Olympic lifting he clean and jerked 365lb at a body weight of 195lbs at the bodybuilding contest for his athletic points. Willing to bet a lot of money there isn't one Olympia contestant that could clean and jerk 315lbs the day of the contest despite weighing 250lbs plus. Bet Flex couldn't do 250lbs despite being a Ninja.

Sergio had a much better calf

In any side by side comparison, Flex doesn't have a leg to stand on

Sergio would win the muscularity round, but Flex would take the asymmetry round easy

Etc

etc

Why I respect the MYTH.

Sergio really was a part time bodybuilder!!!,he had a real job,was a cop,
and look what he accomplished, 3X Olympia you can even argue 4! with crappy training, mediocre eating and most nights was salsa dancing and banging chicks lol also traveling to venezuela,Mexico staying in hotels eating regular food way below 200 grams of protein per day (I'm not making this up) lol ....   drinking alcohol, playing pool, nailing gals when he made the movie ' EL poder del negro" he even was the best bodybuilder under such conditions , Being enemies with the Weiders for not bending down to them.

WoooSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

INSANE SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111

That really is an insane shot. He didn't have a single weakness. Even Arnold had a relatively wide waist, you could say undersized shoulders and legs too. Haney had fairly weak arms, Dorians pecs were never all that great, Flex had weak calves and was narrow, Kevin was blocky not much of a V taper etc... etc..

But Sergio really had no weak body parts.

Flex’s calves weren’t that bad in the early 90’s, it’s when he started putting shit in them

Early flex calves were better than Ronnie and dexter who seem to have some of the worst calves for O winners

Yep, he left a lot on the table. Insane genetics are vastly superior to hard work.
