well i finally got the question from my son lol.... told him no, never!!.... i dont want him taking this shit under any circumstance, for any reason... any of you fellas been asked this question by a loved one?

It's a dilemma. Small children you wouldn't have to talk about, perhaps divert the discussion to something else if possible without lying. Generally I think you should be as honest as possible to your family. Otherwise, do you even know your family or do they know you, if everyone lies?
How old is your son? Say his friends say your dad is on steroids, perhaps because their parents have said little tatoos father is a juicehead, and your son argues that no, he never touched steroids. It's kind of a sad situations. The problem, if you're honest, might be how to prevent your son from blabbing about it to the wrong people.
Some kids aren't stupid and completely ignorant. I knew about steroids at 8-9 and it was just based on what I read. I knew all bodybuilders are on them.

That sounds good, and especially at that age, I think even way younger kids can handle the truth. Kids that age are exposed to so much information you can't keep the truth away from them anyway.

I was asked this same question by the clerk at 7-11 yesterday.I laughed and told him no and he said “TRT isn’t steroid use, right?” And I told him I wasn’t on trt either.
Obviously this wasn’t my son or any serious relationship but it feels good telling the truth, even if he thought I was lying.

its obvious im not natural but ive never admitted it anyone who wasnt on or has been themselves.. worked for lou ferrigno right lmao? as far as my family goes, its a non issue.. ive been jacked for 20 some years.. ieve always been big to them...they all know i hit the gym, how i eat, been to arnolds, and just general health talk. even if the few times the subject the came up over the years nobody had ever asked straight up until now lol.. as for others i dont care what they think if im on or not.

Most guys lie about steroid use when asked about their muscles because they want the credit and to have none go to the syringe. I can't imagine any father even a user wanting their sons buying vials/syringes out of the trunk of some drug dealer's car in a gym parking lot. I hope they would want more for their kids that this life style.

I'm now in to my 60's & use testosterone - what is it with folk
like you who are so pent up angry about steroids & there usage.
Back in my early 20's when I was power lifting & was not as aware
I won British power lifting championships & set records never having
known about & definitely not used any PEDs. I had a reasonably well
built physique as I did a lot of assistance exercises -
My regret later when I learnt more & got into Bodybuilding & going to other gyms, meeting many Bodybuilders is I didn't take PED's when I was power lifting as I would've of stood a Chance at winning the world championships - going & getting 3rd / 4th place etc & losing by a good 100kg in total didn't excite me.
Now i have to hear old farts like you harping on about Steroids
Have you won National titles & competed for your country ?
I don't like alcohol & cigarettes many do - I don't keep going on
about how bad they maybe.

Every one of my friends that took steroids in the 70s and 80s was honest about it. Perhaps that which most disgusts me are the folks like O'Hearn that flat lie about it.
The only thing worse are the ones that take so much stuff that they kill themselves and then claim it was a congenital problem. I have zero pity for them and even less for the idiots that are openly dying on YouTube and still taking more and more stuff to show just how "dedicated" they are.
It's similar to young homosexuals that try to get AIDS as if it were some badge of homosexual honor that they buttslutted their way to an early and nasty death to show their "gay pride".
I also firmly believe that many brofessional athletes take steroids and I cannot blame them because they are actually making top dollar instead of being a bottom bitch and taking it up the butt for a few vials of GH and Testosterone like many (not all) bodybuilders. If you are capable of making millions (like movie stars that juice) I cannot hold it against you because I would do the same. Fortunately I am nothing to look at and will never be in a film, LOL!
And yes, I have been somewhat jealous of Draper, Zane, Arnold and more over the years but one look at someone like them and you do realize that back then people built a base and then took the steroids and only the best made it to the top. Or so it certainly looked. Today so many take so much and they all truly look pretty much the same. And for what?

if you are a jacked Dad taking loads of gear and your 17yr old asks it’s because he is already talking/reading about steroids and looks at you vs online information. If you lie, he will know so give him some respect.
I would get him to ask you the questions because a) you will get an idea of his own knowledge level and where he gets his info/influence from, plus how into the idea he and his friends are and b) it prevents you over informing and possibly being a negative influence yourself.

Are you a professional athlete or competitive bodybuilder or something?
Reading your post, it seems to imply that you have been on drugs for 20 years for no other reason than to appear jacked? If you’re going to discuss potential health issues from steroids with him you may come across as hypocritical.

My son(s)for all intents and purposes grew up in the gym. The questions didn’t start coming up until my youngest was about 10 in 2007 when i competed. I was honest with him but didn’t go into any great detail but it was never a pressing issue him. After that he knew. When he was 16 we got deeper into because he was playing football. He always been a strong, athletic and well built kid but I discouraged it because he was just too young and because of his mother’s side of having a predisposition to cancer.
My youngest is 26, my oldest (36) who is my step son who I’ve helped raise since he was 6, is basically my son. They both train. My youngest has never used (to the best of my knowledge) and my oldest has done a few cycles but nothing really to speak of. They both come to me for advice before when it comes to it.

Old Gold's was about the steroids, albeit within reason and for primarily for contests and then people thought that "physique athlete's" (Bill Pearl's term) should have multiple professional and amateur contests throughout the calendar year all over the world. So people stayed on the juice longer and longer. And now it is a 4H farm animal debacle.
Go read my words on this subject elsewhere in this thread. I think they make sense rather than make me out as senseless. If you are going to be rude my friend, choose your opponents wisely. The man you heckle is for all intents and purposes as good a man as any here, including yourself. And a good father. We have no reason to think or believe otherwise. Then he cautions even someone who is 70 or 75 thst their use will kill them prematurely. What a joke this guy is.
And then his claim that all black market steroids are just watered down test, based on nothing at all. Or that they are sold out of the trunk of a car. You have no clue about the business if you don't know 99.9% of the sales are made through the internet. Absolutely no clue.

after a talk with the kid, im 100% percent certain that hes not interested in anabolics in any way right now.. as for me, i came clean.. i explained to him(somewhat) about my use.. stayed pretty vague tho... didnt seem like he cared at all lol.. told him i didnt mean to bullshit him and i just never want him to use them...he told me i had nothing to worry about. i gave him a hug and that was that... 5 minutes later he says to me..." dont they shrink your dick?". i cracked up and told him, well youre standing here arent ya? it still big enough to get the job done kid... good laugh hahahaha.

listen, ive been around juicers and athletes for 2 decades and its not him... not only that, if given the choice to hunt, fish or lift, or play his fuckin video game lol, lifting would be last.. its got nothing to do with being naive, its called knowing your children... theres nothing wrong with asking questions.. does every question you ask, mean you are about to partake in whatever youre asking about?
