There are now edible shops being reviewed for opening in airports. You can purchase a limited amount to consume prior to flying.
In my Bangkok thread from last November, I posted how the city exploded once rec use for it had been approved. One thing that surprised the hell out of me was there were people selling it from mobile push carts. Like the old hot dog carts you used to see around. They would be walking all over the areas pushing their carts with like 50 things on the damn menu. A cart similar to this :

It was so competitive. There is a chain that when you buy the buds, they come in a plastic vial, boxed up like the old star wars figures used to be. Completely with a collectible card in it.

Low maintenance Fruit gardens (trees and bushes) at bus stops, you can eat the fruit. There tend to be bees and wasps.
