I've heard this from several sources. He's done quite well out of the supplement industry. Not a fan of the fart powder industry but it is what it is and we all gotta end up something to feed ourselves.

He just needs to go away. He’s so out of touch with the fitness world today. All the old, irrelevant guys he puts on his channels so they can bitch about how things used to be. None of them, Dave included, ever amounted to anything in the industry. Look at how small the views are on his IG and his YouTube. It’s embarrassing that a guy like this is considered important in the bodybuilding world.
