I used to love those NWA wrestling shows on WTBS from that small studio. A golden era for sure.

Got into with Ole on Youtube years ago when he was cutting down the other Horsemen. I commented to him that he was the weak link of the Horsemen. He commented that I was "talking out of my ass which is the same place my brains are located." ;D RIP

I used to follow wrestling when I was a kid (Mid Atlantic Wrestling). Ole Anderson was on TV every week along with Flair and Steamboat and others. One day in elementary school, we learned about the poisonous oleander plant. I remember thinking "his real name is probably Joe Smith but I bet he named himself after that plant". "Ole Anderson" and "oleander" were too similar. A couple of years ago I saw a shoot interview on Youtube with him and he said that he came up with his fake wrestling name based upon the oleander plant. RIP!
