I was thinking the same... I see these spotless gyms online, and owners w/ no muscle.
Perplexing. Online bragging rights...

Then I have a friend, barely fits a power-rack on his tiny front porch, only has 20 mins a day to train (works 2 jobs),
And is a world record Powerlifter...

I watch that channel sometimes. He gets comp'ed/huge price breaks on some pretty big ticket items, so it's new plates and bars every year, etc...... He's probably 2nd behind Coop/GGReviews in that regard.

If you ever wanted a nice home gym, start up an equipment review channel, I'm surprised at how much stuff gets given to even smaller channels.

I just skimmed through but doesent seem like much there for 100 grand must be expensive bits of kit.
Gym I go to is 300 quid a year and has every bit of kit anyone could need even a few less commonly seen bits like a pullover machine would have to train for the next 333 years to equal that 100 k gym which not much more than a rack and a few benches

Imagine if he had a $200,000 home gym. He’d be twice as strong!

I honestly think that these guys on YouTube are not lifters, but more like “collectors”....  gathering equipment. Akin to a museum owner accumulating pieces of artwork to showcase to the world.

So that guys gym is very cool.

But a lot of the price went into the brand of plates, kettlebells and dumbbells.  And I don't see why having 18 bars is even close to necessary.

Outside of a few specialty items (like those cool cable things attached to the rack) my home gym has pretty much the same functionality, but I also have 40 feet of turf and a sled.

So, yeah, awesome gym, but could have same for much less price.  No hate though.

Truth be told you could get everything you need with a barbell, squat racks and a bench. Some guys get great results with adjustable dumbbells, bench, chin up bar and dip bars.

I look at my basement gym and think if I ever downsize my house I will go minimalist.
