Title: Being a Dad
Post by: Wiggs on May 15, 2024, 08:32:07 PM
I've been a dad for 15 months. The first year wasn't as bad as I thought with sleep and just getting used to being a parent.

It's been one of the most permanently transformative experiences especially being older, experienced, wiser and more patient.  I never thought I'd be this connected, at peace, and content. It feels natural like I was meant to do this. (Duh).

Everyday is something new and fun. I love my daughter. She's the best thing to happen In my life as an adult.

I'll never understand people that abandon their children.  I could never. Definitely want at least one more child.

Anyway, that's it Getbig.

Good to hear that Wiggs. Most black children in the US grow up without a father so she started off on the right foot.

In order to avoid dealing with the mother's constant tantrums, using the child as a weapon to abuse the father.

I think the judges got it wrong.

That's more than just a black line traversing the darkness of a gray canvas from left to right. No. Instead, it symbolizes the journey of life from birth to death, from the unknown to the known. At the far left it's birth and as that same line moves towards the right, it shows us the passing of time, the evolution of consciousness, but also serves as a harsh reminder of the fact that what does start, will in fact end.

This would be no mere linear progression. Wiggs' kid choice of a gray canvas suggests a sense of primordial Chaos, a canvas that can become pregnant with infinite possibilities. The black line, truly serves as a beacon of order amidst the chaos, imposing meaning upon the void.

Wiggs' kid would be a genius had she created that.

P.S. For those that also missed Grape's humor, Grape was trying to depict the contrasting perspectives on the shape of the Earth held by children. One portrayal captured the popular belief in the Earth's roundness, while the other illustrated the notion of a flat Earth. Hence the title on the picture of "4th grade science fair "Draw Earth", because, you know, Wiggs would teach his kids that the Earth is flat.

Beats having your kids visit you in prison. Or did they not visit you?

Post by: 38 returns on May 17, 2024, 12:15:25 PM
I've not been in prison since my kids were born.

Things my kids have not seen

- Their Dad beating their Mum up
- Their Mum tearing their Dads pec because he's a bitch
- Their dad taking them a sports game and posing
- Their dad takin this top off to post unsolicited photos for strangers who hate him on the internet
- Their dad chickening out of conflict
- Their dad off his head on cannabis
- Their dad being ostracised by his family for being a girl
- Their dad wearing a flamingo leotard in a sports event
- Their dad getting side-eyed by a dog
- Their dad 'losing' a big cat
- Their dad getting hauled n by the police again
- Their dad marrying his drugs counsellor
- Their dad wearing their stepmoms underwear and posting it on the intent for strangers to view his arse
- Their dad fabricating school fights to impress people who hate him on the internet

Brian you wouldn't have last a second on my wing in prison. As you wouldn't last a second in real life. Fake bitch.
