I don't know why I was tripping about it so much but I think it was because of the finality of it all. Knowing that it's never coming back the way I want it to so instead of looking like an idiot or doing stupid tricks like using hair fibers or man weaves and all this other nonsense, I just decided to accept it for good.
My crown is damn near gone and the front is severely receded. :( I had a good 40 year run and 4 years of insecurity.

Let me tell you like Anabolichalo, this was one of my greatest insecurities. It started at age 35. I'll be 45 in 2 months. It was just the crown thinning and it wasn't too bad. My dad has a thinning crown but a solid hairline. I grew locks and one reason was to hide the thinning. They were cool but I always had to wear them a certain way. That bothered me. I didn't like that I was hiding. I shaved the locs 2 years ago and had cornrows. My braider had to use extensions and her talents to hide the crown and by this time, the thinning in the front advanced and bad. It was inevitable. I used hair fibers it covered it but wtf. Fuck that.
I look at all the great bald men in history in sports, politics, business etc. And I thought wtf? I at least had it till 40 and I've seen videos and heard testimonies of guys who lost their hair in their 20s.
This morning I took out the cornrows and looked in the mirror and saw the pic attached but add a bald crown.(btw, that's Jaime Fox, not me for some that have trouble telling us apart. ;D)
I actually shed a tear and told myself it's time and I got my clippers and took care of business. I'm finally gonna own this shit and not let it own me cause it certainly did.

I never realized that black guys cared about their hair, knowing they shave the hair of their children for no apparent reason. Your cranium to face and jaw proportions are good so you look good.

yeah men should quit worrying about their hair. Because miniytirization of hair folicles over time with decent test levels is
inevitable. If you keep worrying about it in your 40's you're going to be miserable.

Make sure you keep lotion on it, you don't want it to get all ashy. :)
EDIT: One of the fellas I know that is a jew has his head shaved except for the little area above his sideburns, he grows that area out into jew curls. You should definitely try that!!
