Title: Are we about to see an explosion in organized crime?
Post by: Goliathon on May 31, 2024, 05:22:48 AM
There's a local thief in my town, who told roughly 5 k from my grandfather. Literally "befriended" the senile old fuck and got him to give him his bankcard. Over several months he took out 5 kish.

He also stole every other tool in his shed(he has a tone of tools)

Apparently I saw him fucking around my parents house two days ago despite being on the other end of town. Apparently he's just stealing from virtually everyone living in a 2 km radius.

The police are well aware he's stealing and threatening people regularly.

I wouldn't think twice of paying 5 grand for a little tony soprano.

Keeping in mind I'm apparently not at all original and there's about 400 million of us going through the same thing.

What is stopping YOU from fixing the problem?  If I knew someone was stealing from my parents or grandparents, I wouldn’t be on a message board posting about it.  I would be fixing the problem and his teeth instead.

My grandfather can take a joke.

Guy makes cock and ball jokes at Christmas dinner.

Now that he's Bidenequse he'll literally say the same cock and ball joke 5 or 6 times in a row.

Guys a get bigger till the day he dies.

Let's see. Liberal states are letting people that kick down your door live there. You have to go to court to remove them cause they tell the cops they live there.  Then a month or two latter when you get them kicked out they raped your house and destroyed it.  Stores are closing and the aspiring doctors know they can loot stores without getting arrested or prosecuted.  Society has made cops powerless and fearing for their jobs so they do nothing. In the past if you gave a cop a rash of garbage he would give you a wood shampoo but now everyone wants to physically fight or verbally fight a cop.

Only a matter of time before people take it into their own hands. If the government refuses to protect you then it's up to you. The problem is with liberals they will certainly prosecute you unlike criminals that you are protecting yourself from.  Remember that attorney and wife that held a AR-15 and handgun outside their house when their house was surrounded by aspiring doctors. They were arrested and charged. Their weapons were taken from them.

Yes this is comon practice these days. Digital criminals going after older people who may be gullible or not tech savy at all or just be senile or what not. I mean it's in the news all the times

I was in my 30's before cell phones and home computers became a thing. I remember when the only email available to most people was AOL.  Plenty of older people are overwhelmed with all the tech and pass words. They have multiple bank pass words, medicare, social security and plenty of billing with computers. It's easy for someone to call trying to con an old person who is buried with trying to figure out tech crap.

I remember in the 80's when computers were brand new in terms of use and businesses began to use them. Guys that went to school for computers were making a sick amount of money because people had a ton of trouble trying to figure them out for their businesses. Companies were throwing money at them. On guy I worked with told me he owned two houses and two really nice cars. Then when computers were common place he was reduced to being a low paid IT person.

A friend said he asked his adult son with a computer question and his son was annoyed saying this is basic stuff. The adult son started on computers when he was five. My friend told him, "I taught you how to eat with a spoon, it's the least you can do to help me with this problem."
