Was his "belly" full or empty? :D

Wilder gas better legs than wiggy

I felt Zhang should have waited for Wilder to turn around and have the chance to defend himself against the final blow, something about knocking a guy out who is just turning his face around that doesn't seem noble.

Furys weight advantage did not help him. Something Wilder and Bhanks have in common is they don't train legs.

Protect yourself at all times?
It was legal, it just wasn't pretty.

I’ve screenshotted this and sent a translated transcript to Zhang. Depending on how his Asian ancestry is broken down you can expect Zhang to select one of three options: disembowel himself, send you a pinky in the mail or he may just focus on creating more diseases in a lab in Wahuan.
Different Asian cultures have contrasting views on what it means being dishonorable, so your words may hold some very serious consequences.

Yes. He looked like he was trying to complain to the ref about something instead of defending himself. That's on him.

Happens in the heavyweight division. Martin was checking the ringside screen to see what happened.

Hankins is in the 220s!
And he'd handle Wilder quicker than the big chinese guy because of his wrestling background.

Back in the 70s all the greats weighed around 210-225

bhanks outweighs him on a full belly.

Zhang is 41 years old and fights like the chinese George Foreman at this point. He comes in heavy and he is slow. His timing however is pretty good. He caught Wilder with a grazing left hook Wilder didn't see which spun him around. Wilder was out on his feet and took the second hook dropping like a stone. No idea why Wilder came in so lean. He didn't use speed or angles.

I think he was complaining about being thumbed in the eye. Should have kept his hands up.

People seemed confused about why he was spun around so not everyone watched it....

I agree with this. Except, looking from a different angle, it wasn't a glancing blow. He hit Wilder pretty flush, not full force but Wilder was coming in and it was a bit more than a glancing blow. It spun Wilder, who was clearly stunned. I don't think he was complaining to the ref. I think he was disoriented and didn't realize he was spun completely around. I think he was wondering wtf happened when Zhang knocked him out.
Also, I think Wilder is as mentally fucked as anything. I think he never really knew what the fuck he was doing but his confidence and his right hand took him far. Now he's lost his confidence, he's a multi millionaire, and he just doesn't want it anymore. Regardless what you think of him he's a guy who made 10 defenses of the heavyweight title. He's not hungry anymore even if he still had his little bit of skill left.

Ah, that explains the weight loss....

China is taking over on all fronts.

Damn that was a sneaky last jab! Wilder was a very entertaining boxer to watch. Always gave it everything.

Yep
Ali, foreman, Norton, Frazier (I think he was vastly overrated though all he basically had was his left hook), shavers (Ali said he was the hardest hitter even more than foreman)
One of my uncles loved Larry Holmes but I never liked him cause his physique sucked ass 😂 but his jab was something special fo sho and yeah he was an 80s guy and he was the king of the 80s until Tyson appeared

Holmes never respected Tyson. It’s pretty funny looking back on old interviews.
Also Joswift landed some haymakers in this thread.

Shavers is considered the best heavyweight to never hold the title.

The heavyweight division is not about high-level tactics except a few. He has excellent timing and his right hook is sneaky and unseen. Plus he is late into the pros, a good amateur, and low wear and tear like the Eastern Euros and Cubans who turn pro late. His Achilles heel is stamina. Get him on the other side of the 6th round. That's why AJ will knock him out if the Saudis make the after he takes care of DDD in the UK.
Parker is fidgety and mobile like a cruiserweight so Zhang could never set him up.

Dokes had phenomenal hand speed forget that he was a heavyweight
His hand speed is phenomenal even for a bantamweight, incredibly impressive 8)

Wilder still has bigger legs than Bhanky
But Bhanky weighs 220+ pounds, by default he out weighs Wilder and should be able to rag doll him with ease
