A low-calorie sweetener called xylitol used in many reduced-sugar foods and consumer products such as gum and toothpaste may be linked to nearly twice the risk of heart attacks, stroke and death in people who consume the highest levels of the sweetener, a new study found.

There are No shortcuts in life. People who are consuming all these artificial sweetners thinking they are healthy are laughable. Fatties gonna fat.

Any and all low calorie diets improves health markers

Even if you ate only potato chips and ice cream your blood markers will improve as long as you stay in a calorie deficit

Problem is most people are not mentally strong enough or tough enough to eat those foods and keep them low calorie

Lots of pussies round

Low cal diets are no fun.

Only masochists can stay on them for any length of time.

This is why high fat, moderate protein, low carb diets work because you can eat till full.

Literally everything is "linked" to everything, these days.  ::)

Newsflash!: We all start dying as soon as we are born.

The only thing we can do is to try to have some sort of balance and moderation in our lives. That's the best you can hope for, when even water can kill you.

not really, the body generates new tissue up until a point it starts to decline which is then the decent into old age and death

Patently false. We grow physically, including internal organs, up to about the age of 25 or so. Then we start to taper off and die. Makes sense biologically since that gives the species enough time to reproduce, raise the offspring to be self sufficient and then off they go.

The entire purpose of life is to keep making more life.

Everyday we are alive, we win the lottery of life. We could've died in the womb, at any stage in development. We can drop dead any second.

When you simplify it to that extent, most things that we complain about, become meaningless.

Master the arts of patience, kindness, and integrity.

You will feel a peace and contentment, that you never knew existed.  Certainly nothing that money or material things can provide, long-term.

I think I've stated this before, but I am the most fulfilled now, with the least amount of  material possessions.

Happiness can only start from within, and then can be extended outward, towards others.

Eat whatever you feel like and drop dead whenever that may be. No matter what you do you are still going when it’s time.

Artificial sweeteners have way more (and more serious) side effects than the food industry wants you to believe.
Imo better to eat sugar moderately than to consume "ligh" or artificial sugarless products.

Wise words though dropping dead wouldn't be so bad sometimes.

Why would someone use an artificial sweetener when a Tsp. of sugar is just 16 calories?  Having a tsp of sugar in your coffee or tea isn't going to harm you unless you're a diabetic.

Are the main users of artificial sweeteners fat to begin with and that's the cause of their heart attacks and strokes?

No escaping it. You will get sick, you will get old and you will die. I follow this heart surgeon on reels. He gives out cardiac health advice. Just found out he has a heart stent. If he can't prevent heart problems then no one can.

The number one predictor of mortality is body size and it doesn't matter if it's fat of muscle big people die younger

Thats what twinks like to tell themselves so they can rationalize not being swole. People go to care homes because they are too weak to look after themselves something which a bit of lifting and enough food might have helped with.

Of course, because the fit and muscular people are still living at home enjoying themselves. The rest homes are for the weak and sick fucks.
