The democrat women don’t place as much importance on it. And their men are cucks and go along with it.

It's a mystery.

Both sides are fools on this one. 8)

Back in the 50s it was sky high.
Nowadays women don't need a man to take care of them financially like then.

If you have children with someone, you should be with them for the sake of the child. Things like compatibility etc should’ve been figured out long before that step though.

The are studies that claim women who remain single into their 30s are unhappy.
I personally do not wish this on people, but their has been a warped view on family running through our country of late.

Gay marriage became legal in all the states in the U.S. in 2015.

There is definitely a shortage of leftist men. They have trouble even defining what a man or woman is. Slim pickings for people who pick their mates based on political ideology.

I don't have empirical data to back this up, but I think people who are happily married are probably happier than single people. Nothing wrong with being single and I think there are plenty of single people who are happy and content. Just a general observation.

I think it probably has to do with urban vs rural, white vs black, religious vs non-religious, and how those groups fall into each party, rather than their political beliefs.

Good general observation!
Here is mine:
The best thing is to be happily married.
The second best thing is to be happily single.
The worst thing is to be unhappily married.
The second worst thing is to be unhappily single.

Makes sense.
