The scourge of the Earth. :D
Ok, best tasting one hands down is Ghost. That said, https://sneakenergy.com/ is one I came across on the 'net and ordered the sample pack. Shaker and 10 different flavors for $10. And the flavors are not all that bad. I do however stir it in with seltzer water so it tastes more in line with the canned beverage brands.
Some people may be disappointed because it only has 150mg of caffeine in it since most other brands have 200mg. (And a couple have 300mg+)
If you are like me and sensitive to stims, try these. Though I don't use them often and only use half a can when I do, it is an adequate pre workout choice if you hate the way beta-alanine in pre workout make you itch.

My favorite is peach Celsius .
Ghost ,Ryse,CBum and ON amino energy are good as well.
C4 sucks gives me jitters .

Better avoid all energy drinks. Massive spike in certain cancers the past years, even among young people. Combining soda or the even worse energy drinks with a diet low in fiber and you increase the cancer risk even more.
https://www.mdanderson.org/cancerwise/do-sugary-drinks-increase-colorectal-cancer-risk.h00-159698334.html
Artificial sweeteners can have very serious side effects too:

Soda is bad, but energy drinks are even worse. They combine and compound all negative ingredients and effects.

what is it that makes energy drinks so bad exactly? There are sugar free options. I know aspartame is bad but most do not have that. So is it the sucralose?

The best energy drink is salt water. Do this first thin in the morning and you will not believe how you will feel. No need for caffeine or bullshit energy drinks that are just making others rich.
Start your day with salt in water and you can Thank me later

thank you after a month of splitting headaches perhaps, I will stick to my morning coffee.

Sugar and caffeine are fine.
I'm lol @ the "our food is poisonous!" conservatrend. As if all the elephants are gonna turn macrobiotic. Or they never made the connection between diet and obesity until they heard it on Tucker, and it turns out they're blameless victims of a grand conspiracy.

I’m starting to become more concerned with plastic lining inside these cans and the microplastics. Had a can of Ghost Swedish Fish today though :D

Does it come from the sea, or you just mix regular salt in regular water?

I heard that for truly optimal results, it has to come fresh from the sea, before the sun rises. Remember to thank him.

Straight from the tap, if you will.

ALL GARBAGE. Never consumed one never will. Haven’t consumed caffeine in well over a decade.

Nothing. People love to say that energy drinks are horrible for you. "OMG, do know what they put in that stuff"?
LOL. Nothing that they don't put in juice, or green tea, or soda, or coffee, diet or otherwise.
Most of it is B vitamins, caffeine, sometimes l-carnitine, or choline, or l-tyrosine or l-theanine, sometimes magnesium, guarana or taurine. All safe.
The ingredients that everyone thinks are harmful is mostly preservatives, food coloring and sweetners. But, again, its the same coloring, sweetners and preservatives that have been in use for at least 2 decades or longer.

They ARE horrible for you. It’s a giant can of sugar water.

They have zero sugar versions as well. The samples I got were all zero sugar.
-
MONSTER.
Only had when I went to clubs back in the day. After I stopped drinking alcohol, I'd have a glass of this instead from the bar when going out..
One can was enough to keep me wired for the whole night and early morning.

Brecka’s the best. A “Human biologist” oh brother! ::)
Totally downplays TRT but hypes up everything else. Drink your hydrogen water and take your ice bathes kids!
-

Yeah. Exactly the kind of 'conventional wisdom' id expect from you.
I just laid it out and your response is 'sugar water'
I don't remember the last time I had an energy drink that had sugar in it.
I stay on a low/no carb diet almost year round. I know what I put in my body and Id never drink anything that has sugar in it.
If you actually researched it, you'd see that there's nothing in energy drinks that hasn't already been in every other kind of drink.... for years.

Sucrose is broken down into glucose and fructose in the intestines. Fructose attacks the liver. You are a fucking leftist tard.

thank you after a month of splitting headaches perhaps, I will stick to my morning coffee.
I went from more than a pot of coffee a day to one small black coffee a day the same day I started the salt water. I experienced zero energy lag nor headaches from withdrawel

Plain old salt

Wait, I shouldn't lay out 100k for an infrared therapy bed?
And the best part is he is on TRT.
Not to say it's all bad = the grounding stuff seems to have some science behind it. I think the old school hippies had it right - touch the earth, eat natural, fuck all day, keep moving, etc....

Any of you bigger guys into those ketone drinks?

The debate is still up on that one.

Bought some flavored Yerba mate in a can today. Any Getbiggers try this? What can I expect? Doesn’t taste like shit? Will my penis fall off?

They are all scams, in that it's nothing but caffeine. The other ingredients aren't even in there, not really, they are pixie dusted so you can have it on the label.
Like I've said, caffeine is such a bad stimulant. At least you US guys can get ephedrine, a little ephedrine and a reasonable amount of caffeine, say 100mg, like a cup of coffee and it blows anything else out of the water. Don't you mofos want a smoooth stimulus with added mood lifting properties?
No I don't think they are particularly dangerous. We are old men but a couple of cashiers lectured us on energy drinks the other day, "do you know how many people have their hearts explode from this stuff!?"

Bizarre how people say shit like this without knowing wtf they're talking about.
Im sure the cashiers a pig that has spent 12 bucks on a coffee from starbucks "Venti", close to 300 mg's of caffeine, loaded with whip cream, syrup, sugar and Carmel and paired it up with an all salt and kitchen sink bagel loaded with butter and cream cheese. All of which brought her closer to an exploding heart than any urban legend about energy drinks.

I said an energy drink is about as dangerous as coffee but they wouldn't have it. Sure some contain a bit more caffeine than coffee but 200mg is just about 2 cups of regular coffee.
The industry here has banned the sales to under 15 year olds, it's not law. But ironically they could just buy an ice coffee for the same kick. My parents had some coffee as infants already and most of the families lived very long lives. Coffee contains antioxidants too and may protect against a few diseases, so it's a health drink really. I had heart failure in hospital and they didn't restrict my coffee.

I quit them all not because of aspertame or anything like that but because it's bad for teeth. My dentist taught me that these drinks are too acidic to drink on a regular basis and really bad for teeth enamel. You only have one set of teeth...

Not according to Mike Arvilla. He said that he’s on his 2nd set.

Nah. How do you find sympathy for obese "diabetics" who won't take personal responsibility? Doritos in one hand and a slurpee in the other. "They're poisoning me!"
I'm willing to accept the risk of fructose in a Red Bull, but I like to live dangerously.

The debate is still up on that one.
I'm with you here. In moderation, I'll take little stevia or sugar water.

I did a MCT oil energy drink and it made my heart play Morse code. I guess some super race folks can’t handle MCT oil.

Why did Dan Duschaine never lift a weight?
I don't know, while he had guru status, he'd wander in and out of lifting. I think he sorta knew he'd never be a big guy. He was also a bicycling and long distance bicycling guy, so that put a damper on things too.
More or less the best he ever looked late 70's, early 80's -

Hi-Tech makes a knock off called Ultimate Orange and same label + packaging etc... it's actually pretty good but it just doesn't quite compare to the original.

Why did Dan Duschaine never lift a weight?
Like Ervin Magic Johnson, Dan was too busy trying to attain the AIDS virus.

One word.................COF FEE.

I think he looked good here. Years ago, there was a start up magazine called Pump owned by SoCal Sport Supplements - https://www.getbig.com/magazine/pump/pump.htm? . It was positioning itself to try and be a MM2K / (Hardcore) Ironman clone. One of the ideas they were toying with was a "Return of Dan Duchaine" thing where he got himself into shape. He was interested for a brief while, and said he got up to around #220 at 8-10% bf for it.
Then Pump had money trouble, Duchaine had health and personal problems, and everyone important lost interest. 1998-2001 was an interesting time in some corners of bodybuilding. Old firms like Weider, Twinlab, etc... were winding down some. Start ups like T-Mag, various pro-hormone concerns, etc.... were starting to blossom, and everyone was on edge with each other.
